Has anyone actually managed to get their OG Fortnite account back after years of being denied by Epic?
I’m honestly at my breaking point with Epic support and wanted to see if anyone here has been through something similar and can give me some advice.
My original Fortnite account was compromised back in 2018/2019 and ended up getting merged with someone else’s account. I contacted Epic back then and was basically told there was nothing they could do for me. I’ve been trying to get this account back because it had years of progress and money spent on it, and I never wanted to lose it in the first place.
Fast forward to now and I’m trying again because I still have access to my original email and managed to find old emails from Epic, including the conversation where they told me they couldn’t help me back then.
I’ve also gone through my Xbox purchase history and found screenshots of purchases from back when I originally played on the account, including the Founder’s Edition, starter packs, V-Bucks and other stuff. I’ve sent them the evidence I have, but I’m still getting denied.
What makes this so frustrating is that I don’t feel like anyone is actually looking at the evidence I’m sending. I understand they have to protect accounts from people trying to steal them, but what else am I supposed to do when I have purchase history going back years and old emails related to the account?
I know people have managed to recover accounts after years, so I’m trying not to give up yet.
Has anyone here successfully recovered an account after multiple denials, especially one that was originally compromised years ago?
Did you eventually get someone to manually review it? Did you contact a different support team, escalate it somehow, or provide a specific type of evidence that finally worked?
I’m not looking for anyone to magically get my account back for me. I just want to hear from people who’ve actually been through this because I’m getting nowhere with Epic and honestly don’t know what else I can do at this point.
