I am aware that it's the rainy season - Google tells me tail end - but just wanted to confirm if it's a good time to visit? We are not going to do any major outdoor activities anyway due to our kid but don't want it to be a washed-out holiday either since we all love the beach.

Also how's the travel from Bangkok here?

Planning to travel with my wife and our 1-year old for a week. After Bangkok we want to go to one of the islands (probably Phuket). Aware it's the rainy season (even though google says the end) - will it be bad or okay?
