Forgematic saving weird

I was trying to convert my .schema to .litematic .
I loaded the .schema no problem but the moment i save and load the new file its replace by a big block of lapis ore im really confused and new to the litematic stuff and wonder wtf is happening.

Also idk if that does impact it but the schematic is pretty big.

Im building this big moon shaped island and finally finised the base a few weeks ago and started to build the terra for it been the first time doing a terra and using axiom.
Tried to go for a very styilized shading the result is pretty decent .

Wanted to see if anyone had any advice or tips to apply to future terra ?

(note im planning to do the detailling in survival once the base done so take any suggestion or advice for that too)
