Help Me Choose a Design for the Walls, Floor and Ceiling

I’m building a large room and I need some help deciding what blocks and designs to use for the walls, floor and ceiling.
I’d like the walls and floor to match the current style of the room, but I’m not sure what would look best. I’m also not sure whether I should make the floor with a foggy glass effect or use something else. For the ceiling, I want something a little more fancy and elegant, rather than just a flat ceiling. I was thinking about adding a large vintage/old-fashioned chandelier something that would fit the medieval style of the room. I also need some ideas for the floor near the entrance. I’m not sure whether I should make it out of some blocks with a pattern or keep it similar to the rest of the floor and use glass.
In the centre I would do big map.
Thanks in advance

Looking for advice on filling this gap.

Was thinking of wanting it to be a cliff or something along those lines but no clue how I’d go about that any advice or tutorials would be great thank you!

I want to build a gothic/medieval church for a graveyard build, but idk where to start.

I really want to make a relatively big gothic, medieval church but I don't really know how to start and I'm starting to get frustrated and burnt out because I cant find any ideas I like on Pinterest or YouTube, and the ones I do like I can't find a tutorial for.

I normally like to build small cozy builds so this is really out of my ball park so I've been trying to find said tutorials for like a base, or more like so ik how it feels to build one if that makes sense. Normally when I try a new style I follow 2-3 tutorials in a creative world then I try one on my own but it hasn't been working for this.

I could really use some like ideas, or if you have any gothic/medieval churchs you like plz comment them or send them to me idc.

Advice - Blending Structures

Hey r/BuildAdvice! Just wanted to pop my head in, as I've been trying to get back into Minecraft after working til burnout. I wanted to start small and build a small home base so I could feel accomplished and have the motivation to pursue my bigger idea, which was a desert trading village. The theme for this area is supposed to be magical overgrown ruins, so I plan on adding large custom flowers, and tons of foliage (including half-barren crop fields).

All that being said, does anyone have any ideas on how to blend this hobbit hole in better with the surrounding land? Namely the third circle (top right), which sits 1-2 blocks behind the main archway. Also, any advice for more punchy contrast? It would look better if I made the main structure dark oak, the interior walls spruce, and didn't mix three wood types.

Thanks in advance!

How do i tie these together?

I'm not sure about what i want to do, but i want to make a cohesive build using these. If anyone has concrete advice on what to do next, it would be much appreciated!

So I am planning a mega base in my survival world. A steampunk castle and I need advice.

This is a top view sketch of the plan i have in mind so far, the top of the image in the back and the bottom is the front of the castle/factory. The circle on the top is going to be a massive observatory which is going to be on top of a snowy mountain. So my struggle is the block pallete. I wanted to go for a sculk based roof so cyan and deepslate basically. Kinda like falsesymetrys base from s11 but I do not want to go for the grey walls. Sanstone colors would go really well with that roof but grey walls work better in snowy mountains. So do I go with the grey pallate just for the observatory and do a different pallete for the castle? If so what?

Improve?

Hi! I’ve been playing Minecraft for 12 years but never really learned how to build well. Now I want to give it a try, so I started a Creative world and began building based on the vibe of the moment, but something feels off, can you help me? Thank you
