A Tahm Kench play so good you'll demote from Diamond

Tahm Kench dies in lane once and then roams way after the enemy team and tries to 1v3 and dies and then decides to just troll and actively not participate in the game (places 8 wards total), walks away when enemy team shows up, takes cs, you've heard it all before. But thought the clip was funny by itself. Whack way to demote from diamond. The ban system will totally ensure this guys doesn't do this again. FOR SURE.

Anyone else run into broken keyboard shortcuts in SANS Foundations labs?

I'm currently working through the SANS Foundations course and overall I've found the content solid. The material is broken into manageable sections, and the pacing has been good for someone newer to the SANS ecosystem. (I do have a B.S./M.S. in cyber security and I'm just taking the post B.S. course to burn some of my unused GI bill and get some certs).

That said, I've run into a surprisingly frustrating issue with the labs: the keyboard shortcuts for moving between steps don't seem to work at all.

Inside the lab interface, the shortcuts are listed as:

  • Next Step: ⌘ + ⇧ + →
  • Previous Step: ⌘ + ⇧ + ←

But in the lab's Shortcuts tab, they're listed as:

  • Next Step: Ctrl + ⇧ + →
  • Previous Step: Ctrl + ⇧ + ←

Neither set works for me. As a result, I'm constantly reaching for the mouse to click "Next Step," which gets old quickly when you're working through a long lab.

What surprised me even more was finding a SANS Knowledge Base article titled "CTRL function not working properly" that mentions known issues with Ctrl key combinations not being properly sent to the terminal. The article says Engineering was working on a fix back in November 2024.

Maybe this seems like a minor gripe, but for a lot of people the Foundations course is their first exposure to SANS training. Small usability issues like broken shortcuts, inconsistent documentation, and long-standing known bugs can leave a poor first impression.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a workaround I'm missing, or have these shortcuts simply been broken for a while?
