I tried to make them stackable to expand as needed (and boy did I). Each layer is exactly matched up ratios with the workforce needed so I just copy sequence and put it on another spacer, or in the case of the carbide and substrate, flip it and put a mirror down.

Heat Inherit Change Poll

In the wake of the Ember discussion Pablo expressed wanting to "fix" heat inherit, but was hesitant of stepping on the toes of vets that really leaned hard into it, not wanting to impede on their fine tuned play style.

So to address that I figure let's get some numbers. To see if A) are there really that many people using it and B) are they willing to give it up in exchange for the sake of the health of the game and clearer mechanics.

Or are there people here that don't use it at all, but support the right for people to not have their carefully tuned loadouts rugpulled by a mechanical change.

Additionally, we can treat this as a place to discuss which changes could be made to try to maintain the spirit of heat's identity while removing the negatives.

Perhaps cap it at the standard of 10 stacks, but base the damage-per-stack based on the sum of the incoming procs, and at the moment a new proc is added is when multipliers get applied to all the stacks. Could prob leave in uncapped but I'm assuming that this saves on computation time for extreme situations where there'd be 1000s of stacks
