Linux iPhone Install Help
HELP. My girlfriend's family has a bunch of unused tech laying around their house. She gave me an old iPhone 6S (I believe?). We wanna repurpose it to just be an ipod touch sort of device. Just music and games on it. Maybe youtube. Maybe a linux mobile distro. Something fun!
However we keep getting the "iPhone Locked to Owner" error message after restoring the phone. We have no clue what the original email or password would be.
I just wanna wipe the thing and start fresh. Trick it out, thought it would be a fun project, but all the help on youtube is just spam clickbait videos.
Can anyone provide some guidance or links? A github? Anything?!
Edit: I realize why everyone online is protective because they don’t wanna support stolen products but what am I supposed to do if I have it legally??
