The Boy who could Fly ending changed

In the original movie, the boy who could fly goes to this museum and there's a park outside of it with a giant stone bridge walkway. With a 4 foot tall stone wall for the handle. And they usually sit there and they talk periodically in the movie.

So they go there to sit and talk during the movie, and at the very end, he stands on the wall. And the acts like he's flying and the movie makes it look like he vanished. They do a shaky cam, and his soul kind of escapes, and his uncle sees it. And they like see the light and everybody's crying at how the boy who could fly supposedly really could fly. (He actually jumped off the bridge and died!)

So. Its horrible. They actually intended it to be this autistic kid jumping off that bridge at the end. I just. Kind of never got it til recently.

So Im watching it. And now. In the end. The boy can legit fly like Superman! And he picks up his neighbor Milley. Goes flying. Says her name (never speaks). Kisses her. Then he flies into the distance vanishing like Mary Poppins 😂 he even gets into a wacky Blues Brothers style chase. When in the og version Milley is just a book worm who hides near this museum to avoid people. Never went to any carneval.

I was so happy. Considering the other ending is mother fn horrible! Like. Really? You'd make a movie about that. About a autistic kid ending it because his parents died.... dang. Thats sad.

But now its okay. Its actually all autistic people are actually secretly from Krypton. And have super powers. So of all the m.e.s that have occured. This stands out to me like something bad in the past was actually fixed in a way. I hate how I can remember it though. Pretty vividly. Like. What the heck were they thinking in that other reality? Ha fixed it.
