Steam Overlay/Guide not appearing when streaming game in docked mode

Let me preface this by saying that I know some are going to tell me to use Moonlight for streaming. Yes, it is better. I've used it for numerous years. I can't use it in my case because I want native support for the Steam Controller and it's extra buttons and functions.

Without going into the full details of all the things I tried and what led to me discovering this, here's what's going on:

PROBLEM:

When streaming a game using Steam Streaming in docked mode, pressing the Steam button / guide button to bring up the steam Overlay doesn't bring it up. You can hear it come up, you can hear your navigation, but it doesn't pop up. If you use the steam button + joystick to move the mouse when you activate the overlay, you can see and navigate it until you let go and try to navigate it normally. Same for onscreen keyboard.

It works just fine in handheld mode. It also worked fine 2 days ago. The only thing I did was bring it out of Beta mode (had it on for troubleshooting a controller issue weeks ago), but if I put it back into beta mode then games won't stream at all. The game will load up on the host and audio gets passed through but you get a black screen.

THINGS IVE TRIED:

-Various settings changes, resolutions, and rebooting both several times

-Turning on hardware decoding sorta lets it work 25% of the time, but it's finicky still, lags like crazy, and it causes issues with the streamed game

-Different controllers, thinking maybe the steam controller was passing through something weird

-Uninstalling Decky-Loader

-Testing steam and non steam games

-Testing the guide in docked mode on games installed on the deck (it works just fine)

So basically, if it's streamed and docked, the steam menu doesn't function properly. Handheld works absolutely fine. Aside from the guide, the stream runs just fine with low latency.

Any help or advice is appreciated. I'm at my wits end with it, especially since it worked just fine two days ago.

I feel like FFXIV's Glamour system is gaslighting me. Trying to find this glamour

SOLVED: Seems like it's the Strife Bags. My originals were in my Armoire, which I know I didn't look at whenever this happened. But I'm a returning player, and there's definitely a chance I glammed a piece forever ago and forgot about it...

I've recently gotten into the glamour system and was trying to find pieces to make a casual outfit. When going through what I already owned, I found a piece that looked cool and put it in my glamour dresser. When I went to go try it on, it was a completely different piece. I don't know if it glitched or if I'm going crazy, but here are the details:

I have a piece called Brand New Trousers. When I first looked at it, it looked sort of like loose joggers or track pants, specifically with the front of the bottom cuffs pulled up slightly as if they were clipped or held in place like that. After I tried to apply it, I get pants where it's like a skirt with leggings.

I wish I had my game recording on, because I feel like I witnessed a 1 in a million glitch. If anyone can point me to the glam I saw, that'd be awesome.

Black track pants/loose sweat pants with front of bottom cuff clipped up (it looked like there was an actual rectangle clip or velcro or tag on the front of the clipped up part). May have had pockets with flaps or other greebles

EDIT:

Race: Miqo'te (used to be Roegadyn if that helps)

Class: Paladin

Sex: Male

Issues setting up Apollo VDD

I switched from Sunshine to Apollo awhile back because I read something about it handling resolution automatically and never tried to set it up. Now that I'm actively wanting that, as I've been streaming to different devices with different resolutions, I'm having issues getting it setup correctly.

I've got my main desktop I'm streaming from. I've got two monitors, and my understanding is that the VDD is supposed to become a 3rd "ghost" monitor that the apps startup in. I'm not entirely sure what the next steps are. I read somewhere to turn on Headless Mode, but I'm not sure if that's what I'm looking for as it just turned off my monitors. Ideally I would like it to be an isolated from my other monitors and I'm able to continue using the computer if I'm streaming (rare occurance), but if I can't that's fine.

Am I missing a step here?

Anyone with a Flydigi Vader 4 Pro willing to take a picture of something?

EDIT: SOLVED.

Long story short, I accidentally spilled something on my controller that seeped through and I had to take it apart to clean. No problem there, but as I was putting it back together I realized that the back switch has a specific orientation that I didn't remember to note down before taking it off. The switch itself is somewhat angled, either towards the top of the controller or towards the bottom. I gambled and just put it in to see if it felt weird.

With the controller put together, I noticed the switch works, but it feels a bit stiff. I can't tell if it's just because I put it in upside down or if something isn't aligned. I was hoping someone with the same controller (who either hasn't taken it apart or did it properly and noted which way it goes) could either take a picture of the switch on the back showing the angle it is at, or just be able to tell me if the switch face slants upwards or downwards. I'd take it apart again and swap to find out, but it was difficult to take apart and almost felt like I would break it in half.

Thanks for any help!
