Most apps in this space want to connect to your bank or at minimum create an account. I didn't want either of those things so I just built one that stores everything locally on your phone.
You add your subscriptions manually, it shows your monthly total, and it reminds you 3 days before anything renews. That's it. No account, no sync, no ads.

I thought it was maybe $60. Checked my bank statement last month properly for the first time in a while. Found Netflix, Spotify, two different cloud storage plans, an Adobe subscription I haven't opened since college, a VPN I set up once for a flight, and four other things I genuinely could not explain.
I knew subscriptions add up. I didn't think it was that bad.
The annoying part isn't even the money - it's that none of these services warned me. They just quietly renewed and moved on.
I've been using a notes app to track it since then, which is embarrassing. Started building something simple for this because I couldn't find an app that didn't want my bank login or email signup just to show me a list. It's just a local tracker with renewal reminders. Nothing fancy.
