This mod saved Valhalla's parkour.

Mod can be found on Nexus Mod's as Valhalla Parkour Mod.

Honestly, i've always thought Valhalla's map had potiental on parkour. Sadly the base game doesn't offer that. This mod though, really brings true parkour back and makes running around England fun! i have found routes throughout Jorvik, Lunden and even random locations like shown in the video.

Assassin's Creed COULD have worked as an RPG. But they left out what made AC: Assassin's Creed

I’ll use Valhalla as the main example since it’s the clearest case of the series trying to be “for everyone” while also carrying the most missed potential.

I will be talking about features that could have returned and possible might even made the game feel better and play better, while still being an RPG, obviously my point isn't that Valhalla (and any other AC RPGs) shouldn't be RPGs, but that these old features could have coexist alongside the RPG stuff

First is High Profile and Low Profile. This system used to be the identity of Assassin’s Creed. It wasn’t just a control toggle, it determined how you interacted with the world. Low profile meant blending in and staying unnoticed. High profile meant full movement, climbing, running. It defined intent at all times. In modern AC, especially Valhalla, that clarity is gone. You’re mostly just walking and running rather than deliberately choosing how to present yourself to the world. One issue I notice is that it’s often hard to even feel the difference in movement states, where as Low and High profile made it immediately readable and also tied directly into parkour control

Second is the detection system. Assassin’s Creed was primarily a stealth game in structure, even when combat existed. In older Assassin's Creed games, i'll name AC3 and Blackflag, enemies well get suspicious of you and etc, instead of just "seeing you" like in AC valhalla. In AC Valhalla stealth works when it works, but due to the bullshittery and how sidelined and optional stealth is i usually feel like it was more pushed aside and combat was the main focus. If we had a detection system like the old games or even Mirage, it really would have made Valhalla stealth feel better instead of just being 3rd person far cry.

Third is parkour. Even in a large open RPG world, movement should feel intentional. Valhalla still has routes and vertical spaces, and from my experience there are good examples of traversal in places like Lunden, Jorvik, and even ruins or rural structures. The issue is not the absence of routes, but the mechanics limiting how expressive they feel. Assisted climbing and sticky movement reduce precision, turning parkour into automatic traversal rather than a skill-based system. Even with fewer rooftops or dense cities, better movement systems would still make exploration more engaging, not less. Parkour, even if less frequent, should remain a consistent and reliable gameplay pillar as it always had in Assassin's Creed

Valhalla works as a game, but it shows the most potential loss because it tried to be both an RPG and an Assassin game without fully committing to the systems that make either side meaningful together.

Just a fun idea: double counters could also return in an RPG form as double parries. but the outcome changes based on enemy level and context (Like Stealth Assassinations). Against weaker enemies it could play out like AC3 with a full on animation, while stronger enemies might completely just "Counter" Eivor's double kill.

Guess who's back? (Reviving The Striker's concept)

he was my old tenth class concept lol with my upcoming videos im kinda becoming the "TC2 needs to innovate and add new stuff" guy its unrealistic to expect a 10th class to be added to tc2 but if there was i'd do it this way more in his video later, all you have to expect is that this shit isn't half assed. He has dialogue and lore written for him, stats, shop weapons and more

It would be so cool, if the Story feature from AC Valhalla was introduced to Black Flag Resynced

If you haven't played Assassin's Creed Valhalla, or if it just isn't your kinda game in general. in AC Valhalla, next to Sea Shanties, you also have the ability to listen to Stories from your crew.

It's a small thing and i know it isn't necessary, i wouldn't mind if it wasn't in resync, but man would i love for this to return : )
