We had just finished watching a movie at Miraj around 4:30 PM and were travelling from the Gachinmani Hospital side towards Super Market through Jagat Circle.

Around 4:35 PM, when we were about to reach Sapna Book House on Market Road, we suddenly heard a very loud sound from behind the car. Something had hit the vehicle and broken the rear glass.

We immediately turned around and saw a big hole. It appeared that someone had thrown a rock at our car. The hole was roughly twice the size of a cricket ball.

What shocked us even more was that, within a couple of seconds, we noticed a medium sized rock lying in front of the driver's dashboard. We hadn't even realised it had passed through the rear area of the car and come towards the front. There were three people sitting in the back, so it could have caused a serious injury.

We immediately stopped and got out of the car. A person in the car behind us told us that they had noticed someone on a scooter, throwing the rock and then going towards the small road near Sapna Book House.

We went into that road to see if we could find the person, but we couldn't find anyone.

We came back to the same spot and there are no CCTV cameras installed by any shops at the place this happened. There are cameras installed on the sapna book house/dry fruit and a bar. We asked The bar attendant but he has no access to it. Also the book house/shop near book house was closed.

Is there anyone who can help us get CCTV footage? If you know someone at Sapna Book House or in any nearby building, please let us know. Any information about CCTV cameras covering this stretch could be helpful.
