I'm asking because even with the unique skill changes, Festival Gold City still seems to have a more complete overall kit to me.
In the end, I just end up with neither the skill nor medium S on an otherwise good run
Should I use the original Dober as a grandparent on both sides to maximize my chances of inheriting her unique skill, even if that means sacrificing affinity and sparks gray?

Or

should I only use the original Dober on one side, giving me a lower chance of inheriting her unique skill but better affinity and sparks gray?
From what I understand, the stamina requirement for the next CM is relatively low despite being a 2200m race because of the downhill section, which helps reduce stamina consumption.
But how exactly does the downhill mechanic work? Is its activation rate tied to wit? Does it also provide a speed boost or does it only reduce stamina usage?
I'm asking because I'm genuinely surprised. As Fine Motion's successor, I expected her to have a much longer lifespan.
However, while looking through Henry's future CM guides on the calculator, I noticed something: during the L'Arc era, she almost completely disappears from the recommendations, except for paces and lates, since they haven't received their newer wit cards yet.
Then, in the following scenario, once cards like McQueen and Satono Diamond are available, Ramonu is barely recommended anymore.
So I'd like to know if that's actually the case. After Grand Masters, is she only really used by paces and lates for a while, before eventually being replaced there as well?
I like the character, but I’m still unsure whether I should pull for her or just stick with the original version
Since it modifies the game files, I’m afraid it could end up causing some problems
I actually like this idea from a game design perspective, because when I look at Pace Chasers and Front Runners, I can clearly see the difference between their identities. But when I look at Late Surgers and End Closers, I struggle to see a real design difference between those positions. It often feels like Ends are just stronger because of Straightaway Spurt.
Late Surgers getting skills that take advantage of their trait of being the position that consumes the least stamina sounds really interesting to me. It finally gives them a unique design identity compared to End Closers.
Are you going to borrow them? Use a selector just to get the skill? Invest 30k carats? Or do you have another plan?
I plan to main pace, and I know how important she is for long-distance races and that she’s considered a meta character
But what I really want to ask with this post is: is it actually worth pulling a character just because they’re meta? Especially considering that long-distance CMs aren’t as common compared to medium and mile. Is it really worth spending 30k carats on her? Wouldn’t it be better to focus on support cards when talking about meta?
I originally wanted to pull all three because they’re my oshis, but after checking the carats calculator, I realized I won’t be able to pull all three characters while also saving resources for important support cards. So I’ll probably be forced to give up on one or two of them in order to have enough resources for the future
That’s why I’d like some help understanding the future of these three, because I really can’t choose which one to give up on. But if we look at it from a meta perspective, it becomes a bit easier
I plan to focus on late and pace. Originally, I had given up on Helios because she’s a front, but then I found out she actually performs better as a pace, so I added her back into my pull plans
