Plus Size Dress Shopping

I recently went to Garnet and Grace to try on dresses for the first time. I know they carry a wide variety of sizes and silhouettes so I wanted to just get an idea of the size I wear plus the styles I like before taking the bridal party. I was told I'm somewhere around bridal size 18.
I tried on most silhouettes and necklines so I have a much better idea of what I like (A-line, sweetheart, etc). However, the experience with the consultant made me a little uneasy. After a condescending conversation with the consultant, she basically told me I was going to have a really hard time finding dresses in my size and now I'm nervous about taking my bridesmaids shopping with me and not finding anything that would fit.

Is this the case in the bay area? I've found four shops to check out that should carry my size: Flares, Janene's, Elegant Lace, and Emerald City. Are there other size inclusive shops in the bay that I can look into? For reference, I'm willing to drive anywhere around the bay area. I know that Sparkle in Sac is also popular but I would prefer not to drive that far out of the bay area.

Hi! This will be my first year at EDC and we splurged on VIP! I have seen so many posts on reddit and tiktok about all the things that EDC offers, but would like to know what made VIP worth it for you?

I know the Beauty Bar requires reservations but would like to try out maybe getting some braids done. I've also seen a lot about the free breakfast not being worth it so I'm fine with skipping on that. I'm relatively short and a girl so I will be taking advantage of the viewing platforms and the bathrooms! Aside from that, I am excited for expedited lines for rides and goodies at the concierge booths.

Other than those, I keep hearing that there is SO MUCH offered for VIP but I don't know what would be worth taking the time to do, what requires reservations, or what you'd need to plan to arrive early for.

What would you do to make the most out of your VIP experience and what are perks that you think make the experience worth it?
