What modern tools/items would you bring with you in another medieval fantasy world ?

To clarify, I don't specifically mean "useful" items in this world like guns and vehicles. This could also be like "a modern kitchen set because I can't bare eating rustically made food there" or "a modern sewing machine so I can make outfits that other reincarnators would instantly recognise".

Do you have isekai that use a LOT of those HUDs (outside of virtual-game world type) ?

For the curious who wants to know why :

I'm currently browsing for HUD ideas for my isekai game. Initially, I thought of having more of a "visual novel" or "pixel" design, that was sometimes used for RPG-like scenario. BUT, the HUDs that I see the most are those holographic / VR designs. So, if there are anime that uses a lot of those HUDs (without being centered about being in virtual-game world), I'm all eyes. Thank you :D

26 [M4A] #France/Online Looking for fellow students who are (or will be) facing semesterial exams to bear the stress together

Hello ! I'm a 26 year old student from France, majoring software engineer. I happen to be in an international exchange semester to conclude my major, and yet, do I feel more anxious than usual about the examinations. Different culture, different means of studies, the unknown is quite oppressing. And I've been thinking of maybe finding other people online who's in the same situation.

The goal is purely sharing our ups and downs, while having a better experience as students. So the major doesn't matter at all. Thus, I'm down to talk about anything outside of my studies. When it comes to hobbies, outside of technologies, I'm also very keen of language and cultural exchanges. I've already surprised some Americans that I want to learn more about their States, while I never visited there (yet).

I'm still a little skeptical to find any redditors by posting this, yet the best way to figure out is by testing. Trying, and exploring is probably the most important part of Reddit, I suppose. So thank you if you've read so far. My DMs will probably be still open, so please don't hesitate

Not sure if that's allowed here, as this is a school project. After what happens with Kronii recently, I am testing my algorithm on the Korean forums (where people started hating on Kronii from the pun incident). It's still a heated topic there so I may need some times to gather more.

For those who aren't aware:

A few days ago, a Korean game made an announcement that they fired a north american V.A. from dubbing one of their new character in English. We learnt afterwards that it was Kronii, and the reason behind this, was because of a Korean reporting to the game company about a pun she tweeted back in 2021. The said pun was very misunderstood and that's the reason she was fired 5 years later. This caused outrages on the Kroniisphere (/j).

Throughout the next days, more and more people get aware of the incredible situation, and Kronii is now getting a massive support from the international community.

Now, my curiousity brought me to this question : What are the thoughts among Koreans, who now are aware of the situation as well ? That's how I ended up building this little project. As I'm currently a university student, I had the idea to try one of the tools I'm currently learning, to study and analyse the topic.

I've oversaw that apparently, most of the Koreans who were hating on Kronii was on various Korean forums. The statistics below still require a lot of improvements, but so far, those are what I could find from scrapping the forums.

If you have any suggestions on what to analyze (f.e. "how much of them are related to the drama", "how much of them believe the pun to be provocative", or "what are the degrees of hate among the posts/comments", etc.) please don't hesitate.

Some cautions :

- The algorithm I'm using is basically web scrapping. A bot is sent to retreive posts/contents related to topics I can parameter. If you have any other ideas on what can I scrape, please go ahead.

- It's still a very basic program that I need to improve.

- The program has set to explore posts and comments starting from the 6th of May 2026

- Since the posts and comments are entirely from Korean platforms (to which I am absolutely not fluent), the analysis here can differ from what you would expect to see on Reddit or X

- Yes, the "negative towards other users" is at None. That's because I made a hypothesis that "negative towards ..." could be someone else than Kronii (f.e. the one who sparked the incident) but it doesn't seem to appear (or at least, in a negligible scale)
