Hi aficionado,

It might happen I join the Ducati club. Was not looking to get a second bike but this Monster 796 down the street is up for sale. And I liked it for a while already, will look good next to the Aprilia Tuareg. Explained to myself that the fact they fill 2 completely different holes in my life that I made up of course.

It is a first owner and will figure out the state of maintenance and desmo later. Of course it has 22k so due soon possibly and will enquire about the belts as well.

Besides some plastic fading at first I can’t spot much wrong with the bike first hand.

Anyone has some tips and tricks when appreciating a 796?
