Epson ET-3850 Won’t work

I've had the printer for about four years. Though I’ve had some occasional connection issues before, a quick reboot usually fixed them. Right now, I can’t get it to work at all. It connects to my Wi-Fi, but none of my devices can find it to connect. I haven’t been able to print anything for the past two weeks, despite trying all the troubleshooting tips.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

If the printer can’t be repaired, I’d appreciate some recommendations for a good replacement. My wife is a teacher, and I run a few warehouses while working part-time from home. We mostly print standard-sized paper every week, and we also need a scanner and an EcoTank model as I have a couple of bottles of ink that I would prefer not to toss.

Is it worth it, iPad Pro M5

I recently bought my first MacBook. I went for a new, sealed MacBook Air M4 16/256GB 13-inch model. It cost me $550, which I think is a great deal; I found the seller on Facebook Marketplace. I chose the Air because most of my work involves editing documents, PDFs, and using Adobe apps. I also do some photo editing in Lightroom, and so far, the MacBook Air handles that just fine. I don’t edit videos at all.

I tried streaming with it, but I think an iPad would be better for that, plus it lets me edit documents on the go. I found a seller offering a new, sealed iPad Pro M5 13-inch 256GB Wi-Fi + Cellular for $1,000. He’s including screen protectors and an Apple Pencil Pro for an extra $50. Do you think that’s a good deal?

I recently switched from a Google Pixel to an iPhone, and I also replaced my Windows G14 Zephyrus with the MacBook Air. Since I’ve never owned a tablet before, I’m interested in getting an iPad. But I’m not sure if investing in such a powerful device is worth it, or if I should just go for an iPad Air M3 or M4 instead.

I'm planning to switch from my G14 Zephyrus and Windows to a different setup. My budget is $2100. I found a new sealed MacBook Pro M5 (24/1TB, 18/20 core) for $1980 on Facebook Marketplace — it's the 14-inch model. I also found a new M4 MacBook Air 15-inch for $750, and the same seller is offering an iPad Pro 13-inch M4 with 256GB for $800. These prices are after some negotiations.

Since I’ll be new to the Apple ecosystem, I’m wondering if the MacBook Air alone would do the job instead of also getting the MacBook Pro. I mainly use it for light photo editing with Lightroom, document editing, lots of PDF work, browsing the web, and using Microsoft Office apps. I don’t ever edit videos. The iPad would mainly be for light photo edits, streaming videos, and documents.

I like the idea of having two separate devices, but I want to make sure the MacBook Air on its own would meet my needs. My workload probably won’t go up much, and if it does, probably not for a few years.
