About three months ago, I was diagnosed with GAD about 2 1/2 months ago. I began taking Lexapro and about a week and a half ago. I made the decision to stop watching porn and masturbating every day. since not watching porn I’ve masturbated one time to just nothing. I’ve definitely noticed some increased anxiety feeling that’s manageable, but it lingers wanted other people‘s input on that. Does the anxiety eventually kinda go away. At about six weeks on Lexapro I stopped feeling anxiety, but I was still watching porn and masturbating daily. The urge to watch porn is definitely there but I’ve been able to manage it.

Watched porn since my early teen hood. Started lexapro about 2.5 months ago. I decided to go cold turkey on porn and not masturbate daily like I was for the past so many years. Felt like I was getting increased anxiety from stopping and my psych wants to prescribe Lamotrigine to help with the urges of it I guess. Does anyone have any input on the idea of using this for that reason?
