Well today I'm proud
I had this idea for a while and I finally pulled it off!
All nails
- Essence Colour Grip Base Coat
- Emily De Molly Water Based Top Coat
- Glisten & Glow QDTC
Blue
- Kiko 030 Cobalt
- Essence Swirl Pool
- Essence Gloss And Roll (clear)
- Born Pretty SP008
- MoYu Silver Dust
- ILNP Take a Bow
Gold
- Shaka Light Gold
- Kads 12 (probably pearly brick red?)
The gold nails were pretty easy: two coats of metallic gold, then I stamped the starfish from the Whats Up Nails A019 Beach Mode plate with Kads 12 and a marshmallow stamper.
The bue nails took longer. I first painted a layer of Essence Swirl Pool, then I dripped a drop of Kiko 030 Cobalt, a drop of Essence Gloss And Roll and a drop of Essence Swirl Pool on a silicone mat, swirled them around with a dotting tool and smushed an ice cube stampers into it, then stamped onto my nails. After that I used the same ice cube stamper and Born Pretty SP008 with the Whats Up Nails A025 Silhouette Menagerie to stamp the coral/algae, then I added some fish from both plates stamped with MoYu Silver Dust and a marshmallow stamper since the ice cube one wasn't picking up the designs cleanly.
I topped all nails with Emily De Molly Water Based Top Coat and after 10 minutes I added a super thin layer of ILNP Take a Bow on the blue nails, and finally a coat of QDTC on all of them.
I'm really happy of how they turned out!
