I'll add context since the context is really important. I am asking this because of how upset I got at what is happening in HSR currently. 2 months ago, a new path released, along with a new support and dps for that new path and this week they released a highly anticipated anniversary character.
For this new anniversary character to have a complete team, you had to pull both of the characters that released 2 months ago (FAR IN THE PAST) then you also need to pull the current anniversary character (CURRENTLY) and you also need to wait for a currently unknown future character or two (FAR IN THE FUTURE, at least 3 months away).
Simply put, you first gotta pull for characters that dont have a full team yet despite requiring a full team to function, then you gotta pull the anniversary character, and then you gotta hope that a healer releases for that same path and hope that hopefully a better support releases too, and also hope that all those characters will be balanced nicely, not too weak, not too strong.
Even more simply put, you have to start pulling for a team, 1 by 1, 6 months before the team will even be complete, 6 months before you even know what the team will look and play like.
I doubt ZZZ could ever do something this scummy and agitating - and since the team size is limited to 3, I don't think it's even possible? Would it be possible?
I am so glad that at least currently, they often release characters that are meant to be played together, together, in the same patch. How would you react if they started doing anything remotely like this in ZZZ? I would lose my sht
