AI detection - Help

I am so frustrated and I honestly don’t know what to do and how to proceed with this. My thesis is about 50,000 words and it flagged 31 percent of the content as AI.

My university wants the detector to show less than 10 percent of AI. I have spent about 6 hours editing it and I still have so much more to edit. I feel so frustrated and I have been crying so much because I did not use AI and wrote it by myself.

In the properties of the documents, you can see the revision number is 478 and the total editing time was 1423 hours and 13 minutes.

I honestly don’t think I can bring it down to less than 10 percent. I just feel like dropping out at this point because It was already so difficult to get to this point as I am taking care of my dad with Parkinson’s and now I feel utterly defeated.
