Saw this mentioned briefly on Twitter, but it annoys me slightly that Monzo makes you go through the action of placing the money into the wallet with the hope of a “double payday”, when they only reward 10 people a month.

Surely it’s something like a 99.999% rejection rate? It’s a pretty demoralising monthly activity that gives you hope for a millisecond before immediately taking it away. Also, the little payday facts don’t really interest me at all.

I understand the appeal of the double payday, but I just wish monzo explained the odds better and skipped the whole having to drag your money into the wallet step.

Does anyone actually enjoy this feature, or would you rather it was handled differently?
