As the tittle suggest for some reason I can’t seem to use the splurged child(spelling?) and the pledged Knight remembrances despite killing the boss, having the remembrance and also investigating the stigma it those two specifically so far
I already know I messed up by doing something stupid so please no need to flame me. Now as to how I messed up. Last night I was just messing around with multiplayer(which I know I shouldn’t considering this is my first play through) and I went to into random shared progression session(big mistake). I helped that person for a little bit than I headed out. Today when I went into my play through I realized that I had new vestiges unlocked that I hadn’t discovered yet but I didn’t think much of it, that’s is until I walked for quite a while and discovered a few new areas without seeing a single boss and thought maybe I had gotten lost. So I went up online and turns out I seemed to have skipped quite a FEW bosses simply by joining that person. I had just beaten the hushed saint in the Forsaken Fen and that person had up until the Sunless Skein Hoist Vestige unlocked(which I’m not even sure how it happened since it said it would put me with someone who was within one bosses of me). So my question…..have I completely messed up my save or is there a way to roll it back?
Edit: after people mentioned the game backing up my data I checked out the “load game” option instead of clicking just “continue game” and it looks like the game made a save from yesterday right before I joined that session so thankfully besides the time I wasted walking around looking for the next boss I was supposed to fight I didn’t lose any real progress(besides some items I picked up while exploring which will still be there) if anything I was actually able to save my progress since I won’t need to do a new play through from scratch. I would like to say I learned something from this experience but knowing myself I’ll likely still do something stupid again :p
