I'm turning 40 in a few months. Been a software developer for 8+ years. My degree is in tech. I want to change careers and starting working in the sciences. Is it too late to find a Masters or PhD with the aim of pursuing academia or independent research?

I'm thinking I would aim for sciences related to physics because my background is not close enough to the other sciences like biology or chemistry.

I have another pot that is not shown but is completely healthy, treated it the same as these.
All my aloe are on the same north facing window.

During winter I barely watered them, I'm in the UK. They looked tired in Feb but not this bad so I expected them to bounce back after a watering. And water every few weeks, not too much though.

Im using regular houseplant soil mix, nothing specific for succulents. There is no bad smell like root rot or anything.

They either happen on game load (press any key to wake up) or about 15 minutes into the game. If it doesn't I can play for hours with no problems.

Most of the glitches the screen freezes and it splits into artefacts with static in them. But the above one is new. If I faced one direction the black start to cover the screen, if I turned away the black would reset to the lower right and start to crawl over the screen again, it was fun trying to run back to my shelter before the screen completely froze XD.

Playing on macOS Tahoe. No other games are giving this issue or having similar crashes.
