I am currently a maintenance tech at target with prior experience working for amazon in RME. I have about a total of 2 years experience in maintenance and will say I'm still a beginner when it comes to electrical but a lot better with mechanical.

I just got an opportunity to have a phone interview which will most likely lead to an in person interview with Siemens for the building automation system specialist role.

I want to know for one if I have a realistic chance of getting this role with my experience and two what all do I need to brush up on for the interview process to successfully get this role.

*I am somewhat familiar with BMS as we used johnson controls at my Amazon site.

I am newer to the industrial maintenance and am seeking a new job opportunity in Atlanta as I would like to go to school in the area. I have done multiple interviews for maintenance tech positions up there and have an offer but would really like to get an offer from the company Medline.

I have a final interview coming up for their Maintenance Tech position and would really like some help on what I should be studying to get better prepared.

I just got an opportunity to interview for Owens Corning and was very surprised about how much they pay for a tech 1 position. Can anybody give me some insight on the job and what the interview process is like? If I'm being honest I don't care if I gotta lift boulders all day! I'm young and want that money

Update*- did not have enough experience for the position but from the sound of it the testing is pretty hard as they were unable to have anyone pass the test even with some candidates saying they have 10+ years of experience.

What's the growth path like on the maintenance side of data centers? I just accepted a role and wanted to know what I may look forward too.

(still getting my engineering degree but it may be a good option to think about)
