Buying my first baitcaster reel

I’ve fished with closed face and spinning reels my entire life.
I have tried a baitcaster probably 30 years ago.
I’m sure it was probably the cheapest one available.
I didn’t get past trying it in my alley because it was either so cheap or I didn’t know how to use it correctly. Got too many birds nests I never took it to the lakes.
Now I’m wanting another one. One that is beginner friendly.
So I will probably buy the Diawa Fuego CT 100HS reel.
I need suggestions on a good reel to match with it.
Ultimately I want to use this rig for catfishing. But at first I plan to use it bass fishing till I get used to handling it correctly.
A good reel to combo with this reel is a Dobyns FR 703C, or so the search engines say.
I’m just wanting a good rod that does the best of both worlds.
Any suggestions?

Does anyone have any options for griddle caddy’s?
I’m brand new to griddles. So new, my griddle top for my Weber gas grill hasn’t arrived yet.
Only went with this option because I’ve already got a charcoal grill, smoker and gas grill on my patio. Don’t have the room for another unit.
I’m not sure if these caddy’s have room for the spatula’s or not.
I’ll be keeping my accessories in the basement in this caddy until I’m ready to cook.
I’ve got two bottles, one for water and one for oil. Will need to store the spatulas hopefully in a caddy.
Plus the scraper and maybe a bottle of seasoning or two.
Am I missing anything here? Would be nice to bring it all out in one trip but I’ll make two if need be.
What’s everybody’s go to when it comes to what belongs in a caddy?
