What should I prioritize in a used car for the Southern State every day?
My 2008 sedan is finally becoming more repair than I want to manage, so I am starting a used-car search before it forces the timing. The replacement will do the Southern State from Hempstead toward western Suffolk most weekdays, plus ordinary local driving. I do not care about a sporty trim. I want something comfortable over rough pavement, easy to see out of, and not expensive to put tires on. For people who drive this route regularly, which details actually matter: wheel size, seat support, adaptive cruise, ground clearance, or just finding the cleanest basic car?
