hi, I’m making an independent short on a thight budget. Almost one third of the film happened inside one car. i looked into two options for filming car scene.

the low budget way to shoot is to shoot the scenes inside a garage and use green screen and practical effects. However, i dont have access to a garage. I am thinking about renting a car hauling trailer from u haul and mounting the camera on the car and drive around an empty streets to film the car scenes.
has anyone shot like this before? any advice?
