Has this broke on anyone else’s transit? Does anyone have ideas for fixing? Tried Velcro but hasn’t been staying. Thanks for any thoughts.

Hello everyone, I have a 2016 transit with sun visor that is not staying in its spot. The mount is no longer staying in the cutout of the metal. I’m wondering if anyone has had this similar problem and if so how you’ve fixed it. Or if anyone has any solution ideas based on the photos I’ll attach. In the first photo you can see the far piece that is supposed to click into its spot, but something happened and now it’s not holding. I brought the van into ford and they told me it’s a problem with the metal piece and that I most likely need to replace the entire front top shell of the van which seems like an absurd proposition for this issue.

Let me know if anyone has any thoughts for solutions. Thanks.
