The Frank Situation
Hello everyone.
There has, unfortunately, been an incident involving one of our patients by the name of Frank. All of us who worked with him knew of his love for the Doodle Dots community. It was impossible to miss. He invariably had his trusty old iPad in his left hand, smiling and laughing to himself, oftentimes requesting a printout of his favorite pictures and posts. We personally don't know much about your community, but we're coming to you for help, if at all possible.
Because we have an alarming situation on our hands.
Frank was seemingly abducted from his room sometime between the late evening/early morning of the 15th and the 16th of May. He was what we call a protected inpatient in our rehab and recovery facility, meaning that the doors and windows were locked (due to previous incidents) whenever the staff was not around. This facility is located on the fifth floor of our main building.
Sometime around 3:30 AM, our staff discovered that the windows were broken into, and Frank was missing. The police have been notified of this and to this point, the investigation has learned that the walls were scaled and Frank was apparently taken out through the window.
Shockingly, a large amount of blood was found on a large glass shard on the shattered windows, and that blood has been tested and is a 100% match to Frank's blood. This blood trails all the way down the entire building, almost as if the perpetrator dragged his body down against the building using ropes as leverage. There is also evidence that Frank may have been dropped an entire story at the end due to the impact and blood marks found in the lawn at the bottom.
Security footage has been unhelpful due to the suspects spray painting over the cameras and utilizing blind spots in our system, and they were very good at covering their tracks. All of us here are shocked by what has happened, and we still can't quite believe it.
We're going to be honest with you. Frank has not been an easy patient to handle. We obviously can't go into great detail beyond that due to HIPAA laws. Regardless of that, all of us here truly believe that he deserved to have a real chance at recovery and that everyone has that inherent right.
What truly disturbs us are the images and posts coming out showing Frank in China, seemingly paraded around against his will. Let us be clear - Frank is absolutely NOT healthy enough to be moved from a hospital bed even five feet, let alone several continents away.
If these images really are of Frank, and if the perpetrators are reading this: please return him immediately so that he can finish his treatment and recovery. The police are very much involved, and you should be very careful about your next move.
If anyone has any information that might be helpful to the police and detectives that are involved in this case, please share what you know. We need to bring Frank home where he belongs.
