Is there anyone here that is paying rent with cash?

I'm a new student in DTU and I found a room to rent in a family house. The owner is asking for cash only. Is this normal for that kind of accommodation?

I recently bought a new pair of Salomon X ULTRA 360 LEATHER MID GORE-TEX boots, but I’m experiencing two issues right out of the box:

1. Clicking sound from the left boot – It’s noticeable with every step, and I can’t figure out the source. I’ve checked for debris, loose eyelets, and inspected the insole, but nothing seems out of place.
2. Right boot fit issues – My heel isn’t secure and lifts up while walking, and my ankle doesn’t feel locked in. It’s making me lose confidence on uneven terrain.

I’ve tried:

• Re-lacing with the heel lock technique (no improvement).
• adding an insole (no change).
• adding heel lock and tongue pad (no change).

Has anyone else experienced this with Salomon boots? The boots are brand new, so I’m wondering if it’s a defect or just a poor fit for my foot shape.

Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!
