Stereo Board for Wet/Dry Recording & Modular Synth (Plus Everything Else)

Haven’t posted anything in awhile here - just finished wiring this up over the weekend, so I figured why not.

This is actually two small effects chains.

The first is just Mood > Onward, & is connected in stereo to a Strymon AA.1 module in my Eurorack setup, so I can run modular synth through these two. With floating ring TRS cables you can pass CV directly from Modular into Chase Bliss expression inputs without any kind of converter, which is rad for this application.

The second is Gen Loss > Lossy > Particle > EchoSystem > MercuryX, & I run that from the sub bus of a Tascam Model 12 & back into channels 7/8 of the mixer. So when I record anything at all, I have a “dry/wet” stereo mix at the end.

The second pic is my guitar pedalboard.

I’m using the Model Fet as a preamp & the Iridium as a cab sim. It lives in one of the Tascam’s inserts, so I can also run modular synth through that too, though it’s mono.

There’s a Digitech Space Station (cloned from another pedal in that series) next to the board, it lives in a loop on a Boredbrain INTRFX so I can run modular synth through it. I’ve also got a MicroFreak & a Chase Bliss Blooper in loops of the INTRFX - the Blooper is awesome for ad hoc tape loops when you run a cassette player into the INTRFX.

I can also use the INTRFX to send guitar/bass/whatever through the modular synth too.

Last pic is the whole battle station… mixer/eurorack/sequencer/tapes/cassette players/guitars/basses/noisemaking toys/etc. I’m a longtime guitarist/effects nerd who got into home studio stuff a few years ago & modular less than a year ago. I’m now trying to find the best ways to fit all the pieces of my creative puzzle together, having subtle end of chain effects to act as the glue between the different instruments I plug into the Tascam.

Anyone out there know how to get in touch with Nudlhed?

I’ve been making music with cassettes & tape loops overlaid with other instrumentation for a long time. I’ve recently gotten into modular & have been looking for an in-rack option for cassettes - I found a couple & settled on the Nudlhed Noodle Rider.

The problem is there’s no easy way to order one. I’ve filled out the request form on the site & have sent messages on social platforms, but haven’t gotten a response.

Anyone have luck ordering one of these in past?

Bought a used VCO that’s not working as expected - what am I hearing here?

Basically the title. I bought a used Erica Black VCO on Reverb, it shipped quickly & arrived reasonably well-packed & wrapped in bubble wrap. The seller had a decent amount of previous feedback, all good. Shipping materials didn’t seem damaged. I installed the module & can only get the sounds shown in the attached video. It’s clearly broken but can anyone triage what’s going on by ear?

Seller says it was fine before he shipped it & the package was insured anyway, & after I sent him a similar video he suggested I start the USPS insurance claim process & he’ll send me a loaner oscillator while I wait for resolution. I’ve always been under the impression that the shipper was responsible for insurance claims & regardless, my gut tells me there’s no way this works out for me if we take the path he’s suggesting. I should just request a refund, but if anyone here can clarify what’s going on with the module I’d feel a lot better about it. I’ve certainly had gear I sold get damaged in shipping & it’s frustrating.
