Researcher asking for advice: where can I recruit K-12 students with ADHD for a coding-accessibility study?

Hi everyone,

I'm a PhD student researching how coding tools (like Scratch ) can be made more accessible for kids with ADHD. To do this well, I need to involve K-12 students with ADHD in the research, with full parental consent and school/ethics approval.

I'm not recruiting any children through this post. I'm just hoping for advice on where and how to find participants.

Specifically:

* What organizations, programs, or networks connect researchers with ADHD families or students?
* Are there ADHD-focused groups, after-school coding programs, summer camps, or nonprofits open to research partnerships?
* For parents/teachers here: where would you expect to *see* a trustworthy study like this advertised? What channels would make you take it seriously?
* Any advice on approaching schools or special-education programs directly?

Any pointers, names, or "try X instead of Y" advice would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Should I attend biometrics and wait for an earlier F1 interview slot, or cancel and return to the U.S.?

Hi everyone,

I am currently pursuing my PhD in the U.S. and came to India for my F1 visa renewal. I also recently renewed my passport.

I was able to book my biometrics appointment for July 8, but my visa interview is scheduled for September 2. Since there is a long gap between the two appointments, I am unsure what to do.

Should I attend the biometrics appointment and continue checking for an earlier interview slot? If I am unable to find one, can I return to the U.S. using my current valid F1 visa and skip or cancel the September interview?

Or would it be better not to attend biometrics at all, cancel both appointments, and return to the U.S.?
Would attending biometrics create any issue with using my existing F1 visa to travel back to the U.S.?
Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Any advice or recent experience would be really helpful. Thank you!

Looking for a premium sports bike rental in Vizag for one day

Hi everyone, does anyone know where I can rent a premium sports bike in Vizag for one day?
I’m looking for something like a Kawasaki Ninja or a similar fully-faired sports bike. I’m not looking for Duke or Royal Enfield models. I just want to experience riding a premium bike for a day.
I’m willing to provide valid ID, driving licence, security deposit, and any other required documents. Please let me know if you know any trusted rental service or anyone who rents out such bikes privately

F1 Visa Renewal Slot Availability in India for June/July

Hi everyone,

I am currently pursuing my PhD in the U.S. on an F1 visa. I came to India for my F1 visa renewal, and I recently updated/renewed my passport as well.
I am now trying to book a visa appointment slot for June or July, but I am not able to find any available slots. The last availability I saw was for August, but I am not sure if earlier slots for June or July may open later.

Has anyone recently seen F1 visa renewal or interview slots opening for June or July in India? Do slots usually open closer to the date, or is it better to book the earliest available slot and keep checking for rescheduling?

Also, since I am continuing my PhD and this is a visa renewal, is there any better approach I should follow while looking for slots?

Any recent experience or suggestions would be really helpful.

Thank you!
