Hi! After a few months of amazing campaigns, I fear I’ve been scammed by one of them.

I have filed a dispute on sideshift but it still says pending.

Campaign: Owed
Founder: Justin Love (as referred to online in articles) Contract has name Justin Harron

Campaign was called off for everyone on October 1st
Justin communicated that payments will be received in a week(October 8th)

Justin has sent two messages since January first- see pictures.

There are quite a lot of us who have not received any payments and there is no communication from Justin.

How do us creators get paid?

SideShift also shows $0 even though we definitely earned money. Luckily I did a dispute before that happened. But others are not able to do a dispute because of this.

Any advice would be great as I am trying to figure this out for all the creators in this campaign.

Not sure how to feel

I promise I am very understanding person but this seems a little weird TO ME!

•you were the nanny. Not the mom.. you say that was your baby. I know it means you cared a lot but that’s not your child.
•you named your child after the passed baby..
•your child’s birthday is centered around pajamas that the passed baby wore..

Like am I missing something. I really just find this strange. I have had a baby I nannied pass but this just doesn’t sit right with me.

Please help me understand this!

The owner(?) seems to be running this by himself although there is one girl who’s very helpful and kind in the campaign.
i left after two days. He never disclosed that it was a 1k req to get paid and it pissed a lot of people off.

The pay per video is like $6.60 and that’s just crazy.

Plus the video concept is NOT converting to views. The girl I mentioned earlier, she had some great ideas for scripts in our private messages. She definitely seems more knowledgeable and approachable than the owner. He’s very short and lowkey rude. I don’t understand why he’s recruiting more people when he can’t help the current creators.

Collect- settlement finder

Hi besties!! Has anyone worked with this app before? Landed it on SideShift. Seems pretty simple & easy. Pay is decent as someone who just needed a hobby lol.

I’ve noticed a TON of the new insta & TikTok accounts while warming my accounts up. The issue is that they posted a few times and haven’t been active in weeks/months. I know creating new accounts take some time to literally warm up. I’m not looking for millions of views my first month.

Is it a bad gig after all? I have not a thing to lose.

Family UGC

Hi! I have worked with a few family brands. Some that do BLW plates and bowls. I posted just on my Facebook a picture of my 10 month old with the plate and linked the product. I shared it in a few groups (ones that allow linking) and the brand even asked to reuse the picture! But the comments were awful.

Saying I’m a horrible mum for putting my child on the internet for likes and comments. Saying she is going to hate me in a few years for doing this. That I’m basically trafficking her…

I guess my question is how do other mums deal with this negativity? Should I stop doing videos for that niche? I don’t think I can mentally deal with the hate I receive. Especially when it comes to my child. Over 2000 comments across similar content I’ve posted talking about how horrible I am.
