Heyy! :) I won an Interrail Ticket via DiscoverEU and will probably start my journey in eight days. I just wanted to share my route as it is currently planned. I am very open to suggestions/help/ideas as well as meetups ^^

24. August: Münster -> Marseilles

25. August: Day trips to Nice

26. August: Marseilles -> Bari

31./1. September: Bari -> Patras (ferry), then to Zakynthos by ferry/bus

6. September: Patras -> Thessaloniki

7. September: Thessaloniki -> Belgrade (FlixBus)

13./14. September: Belgrade -> Bar

17. September: manage to get to Tirana airport to fly home to Germany

What do y'all think? Does that make sense?

I am travelling to Japan with my mother to visit friends of hers in November. I was thinking about staying a little longer in Tokyo, alone, as I will be continuing the journey without her anyways. To be honest I know next to nothing about Tokyo and the whole thing is far from being carved into stone yet, but I’d love to experience some unique or a little unhinged things you can only experience there, apart from the usual sights. I have an interest in the nightlife, but dont know what is within reasonable bounds as a 19 year old inexperienced female solo traveler lol. But I’d also love just walking around interesting areas (at night)! Do you have any recommendations? Could also be for hostels/hotels and the idea of it in general. I’d love to hear about some more niche/underground things but I am open for any sort of advice!
