Physical admission date clarification.

In the physical admission notice they mentioned the reporting date for physical admission is on 14th and 15th for programs in kolkata. Does that mean we need to stay for both days ? Is it ok to report on 15th alone, as I won't be able to report on 14th. Also when will the classes start ... If anyone knows pls reply as I need to arrange my travel as well

ISI kolkata MTECh QROR REVIEW!!!!

Hi everyone. Geneuely need guidance from ISI former or current students.

I got selected for the isi mtech qror program this year.

  1. From what I heard from the previous review, the placements weren't that good. Even in the annual report of 2025 only 9 out of 23 got placed for qror batch.

  2. Is it true that QROR has the least value in ISI kolkata ?

Also the competition for QROR is very less compared to other courses in ISI for entrance exam. Why it's less popular ?

  1. higher studies opportunities after qror

Please give an insight about the reality. The placements and course review for QROR.

ISI Mtech QROR merit list OUT

Mtech QROR results out. The cutoff went too low this year, maybe the lowest in the last 6 years.

GEM is indeed cursed for IIM BLACKI ?

Guys I'm a general Engineering male with 20 months work experience (as of July 2026 ) + counting with 9/9/8 profile from a state wide tier 2 college. And this is what the college predictor is showing. I guess the holy trinity is far away.....

(PS: can we rely on this call predictor stuff?)

ISI Kolkata M.Tech QROR 2026: Any estimate of Top 12 / Top 15 final score cutoff?

Last year: (2025 insights)

Interview shortlist: ~41 candidates

MMA cutoff: 39

Shortlist criterion: 2×MMA+3×PQB

Interview shortlist cutoff: 209

Final merit formula: 3×MMA+5×PQB+2×Interview3

The last candidate in the merit list (38th rank) had a final score of ~410 and this was the gen category cutoff

This year: (insights till now)

~42 candidates shortlisted for interview

MMA cutoff: 41

Interview shortlist cutoff: 205

Same shortlisting and final merit formulas

For those familiar with QROR admissions:

Given that the last year merit-list cutoff was around 410, how many marks above that would typically be needed to be reasonably safe for Top 12 or Top 15?

Would something like:

440–450

470–480

500+

be a more realistic target range?
