Aquaguard Delight Aquasaver RO+UV+UF+MC at ₹6,800 – Worth buying if I want almost zero AMC cost?

Hi everyone,

I'm getting the Aquaguard Delight Aquasaver RO+UV+UF+MC (2-year filter life, Mega Sediment Filter, 9-stage purification) for ₹6,800.

My tap water TDS is around 300–350.

I'm confused about the long-term maintenance cost.

I don't want to buy an AMC. I'd rather replace filters myself whenever needed.

My questions:

Is AMC actually necessary, or can I skip it completely?

What's the real cost of filter replacement if I buy filters myself?

Are genuine or compatible filters easily available online?

Can I replace the filters myself without calling Aquaguard?

After the initial 2-year filter life, how much should I expect to spend every 2 years?

I'm looking for the lowest long-term ownership cost, not just the lowest purchase price.

Would you buy this model, or is there a better RO with cheaper DIY filter replacements?

Wakefit ShapeSense Orthopedic Mattress for ₹7,650 (after bank discount) + ₹99 offer processing fee. Worth buying or should I cancel?

I just ordered a Wakefit ShapeSense Orthopedic mattress.

Details:

MRP/Order price: ₹10,414

Offer processing fee: ₹99

Bank discount: ₹2,862.10

Final price paid: ₹7,650.90

My questions:

Is ₹7,650 a genuinely good deal for this mattress, or does it usually go lower during Prime Day/Flipkart sales?

Is the ₹99 "offer processing fee" normal, or is it just an unnecessary extra charge?

If you own this mattress, how has it held up after 1–2 years? Any sagging or comfort issues?

Would you keep this order or cancel and wait for a better deal?

Looking for real user experiences before the return/cancellation window closes.

Alcoholic father tried to hit us days before my wedding. Now wants to sell ancestral land. What are my legal options to stop him?

I'm the eldest son in a family of 3 sons and 2 daughters. Our father is alcoholic, short-tempered, and has never contributed financially to the household. My younger brother and I bear all household expenses including our father's personal needs.

The Wedding Incident:

I recently got married. I spent close to ₹30 lakhs arranging everything myself. A few days before the wedding, my father demanded cash for his own clothes instead of letting us arrange them. When I refused, he tried to physically assault my younger brother and hurt me as well — days before my own wedding. He eventually boycotted the ceremony, borrowed money from a relative, and attended anyway.

He still claims he "did everything" for the wedding and calls us useless. Classic gaslighting.

The Debt Problem:

Over the years he has borrowed money from multiple people. I have paid off many of these loans. But he keeps borrowing more, and creditors come to me. I have realized I need to stop paying but wanted to confirm — am I legally liable for his personal debts? I have never signed anything or stood as guarantor.

The Land Problem — Most Urgent:

My grandfather owned ancestral land. Legal heirs are:

My father and 2 uncles (one uncle is deceased, survived by wife + 1 minor child)

2 aunts (one unmarried)

My father, influenced by neighbors/outside people, wants to sell this land. He earns nothing. I strongly believe he wants to use the money for himself and it will be gone within months.

I have 2 unmarried siblings whose future depends on this asset. I cannot let this land be sold.

My Questions:

Can my father legally sell the entire ancestral land alone, or only his share?

What is the fastest legal step I can take to prevent any sale — caveat, partition suit, injunction?

Am I legally responsible for his personal loans I never co-signed?

If he becomes physically violent, what legal protection exists without completely destroying the family?

My wife is fully supportive. I'm not looking for sympathy — just practical legal and personal advice on how to handle this situation systematically.

Thanks in advance.
