Morphing filter voltage control

Hi,

I'm trying to prototype a SVF-filter with a moprhing control from a single potentiometer. The idea is: When pot is at one end only the LP output is active then at the midpoint mostly BP and at the other end only HP. I'm having some trouble getting my head around the right polarities for the precision rectifiers here. I used this article as a reference: Precision Rectifiers. I would appreciate if someone more experienced has a look at this schematic for things to fix/improve! I'll be using the three generated CV's to control a SSI2146 VCA with the different filter outputs.

Thanks!

EDIT: For clarification I'm especially unsure about the orientation of the rectifiying diodes D12-15.

Best practices for generating negative voltage rails

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out what would be a solid way of setting up +-15V voltage rails for a line level project I'm working on. I've seen this implemented with an isolated DC/DC buck converter, but I'm worried about the switching noise. Would this be mitigated by using ldo's on each rail after the converter? Another idea I had was to use two ldo's and a voltage converter. However I wasn't yet able to find a voltage converter that works with higher input voltages. I'd be happy to learn more ways to handle the power side of things.

Thanks!

Hi,

What are your preferred ways of building an input stage for a pedal to handle both line and instrument level signals? On a project I'm sketching I'm planning using an op-amp to boost gain by around 5-6x and would use a 1M pot to attenuate the signal for line level. I'm biasing the op-amp at +6V. Is this an OK setup or is there a better way of doing it? Thanks!

Hi!

I'm designing my first bigger fx unit. I have a pre-amp section that will be always enabled, however I want to add a tape style saturation section that can be toggled on or off with a button. I have not worked with relays before, so does this circuit make sense for what I'm trying to achieve? Thank you :)
