Is eating raw ground beef bad for you?

I am afraid to Google it because I will WebMD myself to death so I guess I’ll have other humans do it instead. Every time my grandmother and mother have made burgers, I saw them sneak a pinch of the seasoned meat to taste. My family members would flip out over how not just gross but seriously dangerous it was to do that. They say the same about cigarettes, alcohol, etc. my grandmothers entire life she did it, my mother still does and since my first delicious bite I never stopped.

EVERY SINGLE TIME IN THE LAST 15 YEARS I’VE MADE BURGERS, I CONSUMED AT LEAST 2 TBSP OF THE RAW MEAT.

So how bad is it really?
