Hey guys , got a question for yall. First I just saw a pick of my dad when he was 19 ( I’m 19 too right now) and he looks way better than me, and it makes me feel weird cause why my parents looked good and I do less. Another question , do weed and alcool affect looks and how?

Is it weird?

You and your significant other share a home. Is it weird if one of the partners vacuums and empties the bathroom trash cans before the other one leaves the house or comes back to the house for a week trip?

I'm curious whether this is a problem other people have.

When I'm learning from YouTube, I often remember that a tutorial explained something, but I can't remember which video it was or where the explanation was. Searching YouTube usually only searches titles and descriptions, not the actual content of the video.
So I've been building a search engine that indexes what's actually inside videos—captions plus text that appears on screen—so you can search for a concept and jump directly to the relevant moment.
For example, instead of rewatching a 90-minute tutorial, you could search for something like "JWT refresh token" or "Docker bridge network" and go straight to the explanation.
I'm not trying to promote anything at this stage. I'm trying to validate whether this is a real problem.
Would a tool like this be useful in your workflow? If not, what would stop you from using it? I'd really appreciate honest feedback.

Is this being close minded?

Hello,

I’m sorry if this is too long. I want to hear everyone’s opinion on my own opinion. Which is weird I know. Recently I got into an argument with a relative in which I was referred to as being close minded for sticking by my opinion so strongly even when they have tried to tell me why it was wrong. Let me explain the scenario, I don’t care about football, I dont like it or enjoy it, I don’t care whether my country wins or loses, it’s not something that is interesting for me and that’s about it. So when my relative mentioned that my country won and was qualified for the semi finals or whatever I said “good for them” and they asked me if that made me happy and I simply said that I didn’t care. Would not have cared if they won or not. I love my country, hate the government but not the people, but again, football is not something that makes me happy. I was told Im being close minded bc why would I not be happy for my country when this could get them so much recognition, money, success, etc.. I told them I see their point and I hear them and I agree its good for them but I still genuinely do not care, I don’t cheer for it or feel sad about it I just genuinely could not care less, I don’t see why its a big deal that requires me to be happy over it? I feel like there are better things (my own opinion) that are worth cheering, like developing medicine, helping people get out of poverty, animals no longer being endangered, etc.. to me these are the things that make me happy and I actually care about. Even though I voiced my own opinion and told them that I understand where they are coming from I just don’t agree with it and that my opinion still remains unchanged, I was called close-minded. As far as I know, close-minded people are people who never listen to the other side and refuse to evaluate things fairly before reaching a conclusion. But I am sure I did, I heard their side and I even agreed with it that yes it will help my country and its good for them but I still do not care and don’t see why I should cheer it (not that my care or cheering will make a difference anyway) and that to me I still think there are other things that are worth cheering that my country does and deserve more recognition and hype than “football”, I think I’d be happy if my country got recognized for something else than the world cup, that is genuinely just my opinion I do not disagree with others who think it’s wrong, nor do I try to force my thoughts on them but I genuinely CANNOT see what they see, so I let them be and they let me be. Am I truly close-minded?

Does it mean anything if a woman recognizes your voice from across the room, walks over to you, and reintroduces herself just because she heard you speaking?

Does it mean anything at all, or am I reading too much into it?

Is sleeping with posters of people in your room bad? energy and spiritual wise

Okay so, I am a music lover and i mean lover, I collect posters of my favorite artists and there’s like at least 8 faces on my walls right now( that sounds so weird) but my friend told me that it could harvest bad energy… I’m not sure what to think of that but i need second opinions. I love my posters so much and i’ll probably be upset if she’s not wrong.

Does anyone know any good legit side hustles that don’t require a car/license?

Also a side hustle that doesn’t really require any schooling.

How do people organize thousands of photos and videos without going crazy?

I realized I have thousands of photos and short videos on my phone. Every time I try to organize them, I end up making even more folders and duplicates.
What’s your system? Do you sort everything immediately, once a week, or just leave it until storage runs out?
I’m looking for practical ideas because my current approach clearly isn’t working.

Is wearing bandanas weird?

Hey,

I had to go back to my old school today for the first time again (eventhough I'm only starting to go there again after sumner). I obviously saw a lot of students there and a bunch of them started laughing as soon as I passed them and even shouted from afar to ask what that thing on my head is. I have been wearing bandanas for months now, just never in my hometown. Do you think it's weird to wear them?

Deep Sea

Since we barely know anything of the deep sea and of the antarctic deep sea, couldn't they attach some camera with a bright light that resists cold temperatures and that stays firmly attached. The sperm whale could be an example they could attach a camera on the whales torso or something like that and we could see more of the deep sea, am i genius or just stupid? Why do they want to risk their lives and go for themselves and built something that will eventually crash from the pressure

Is this weird to do?

I recently moved to a new state all by myself. I have a few work friends but don’t want to limit my circle. Is it weird to go up to a group of people around my age at a large park I frequent to introduce myself?

Something along the lines of ““Hey! I know this is random, but I moved here a few months ago and realized I don’t know many people. You all seemed really cool, so I figured I’d say hi”

I don’t love bars and am struggling to find other social scenes that fit me that don’t cost an arm and a leg

How quiet is usually associated with quiet time at an apartment?

Hey feels dumb to ask but that’s why I’m here😅 I haven’t lived in an apartment in something close to 10 years. My unit has quiet time from 9 pm to 9 am. I turn down my tv and switch to a softer walk blah, blah, blah. Every other piece of equipment i don’t mind running over night, but my dryer is loud.

It’s part of the apartment contract but the initial start up is very loud in the apartment. Im not sure if it’s just my first time having my dryer in the same room I’m sitting or if it’s a nuisance to my neighbors.

To shut up the nagging voice in my head every day at 9pm. How would yall describe quiet time in a less vague rule set? Also should I have the building maintenance look at my dryer, everything online says they should be quiet?
