Soo basically I've been out of work for some time. I have worked as a waitress, receptionist, warehouse fulfillment person, retail worker in the past.

I have worked as a Receptionist for the longest time about three years in total.

I've been applying for all manor of jobs for a while. With no luck.

I have a very basic education background. Bad leaving cert and a level 5 in office skills. Should I look to get more skills?

I know there's a gap in my employment which is a red flag for a lot of employers. I know that they probably don't think your a serious and put you at the bottom.

I live in the Kildare area so travelling into Dublin is not a big deal but it's still a bit away. Is that a deterrent?

Is it the job market?

I am now becoming a member of the glasses wearing community! I did my test with Specsavers but don't want to pay Specsavers prices for glasses.

What glasses websites can people recommend? Reasonable prices obvs.
