Lifespan of 1st Gen Nest Hello Wired Doorbell?

So I think my doorbell has finally given out. It's the 1st Gen one that I got back in 2018 when it first came out. Over the last two years it started randomly cutting off it's camera several times a day. It's always been 11am and 5pm and happens about every 20-30 minutes staying down for only 5 or so before rebooting. I thought maybe it was overheating but it happens when it's not in direct sunlight so that can't be it. I also tried various fixes I found online like disabling the indoor chime, turning the quality of the video way down low etc. But nothing has seemed to fix it so I think it's just dead. I also have several Google outdoor and indoor cameras that I've had up and functioning for at least 5 years now and none of them lose connection or ever powder down. So it can't be something outside doing it. It must be the age of it.

The real problem now is that whenever someone pushes the doorbell it immediately dies. So it's no longer even doing it's job of letting me know someone is at the door! LOL! It doesn't ring or notify me so the person just stands there and I have no idea someone's outside.

Does anyone have any recommendations for what to do?

Next best option to the Estradiol patch?

Hello all!

I've been doing a lot of reading and research and decided I want to deal with my perimenopause symptoms. I finally made an appointment with an online provider to get some help. I thought the nurse practitioner would want me to go do blood work or hormone labels but she listened to my symptoms and determined I needed more estrogen! She told me I'd need to go off my birth control pill so I could get the estrogen patch and then just take a progesterone birth control so they don't cause issues in me and sent the prescriptions off to my pharmacy. Well apparently there's a nationwide shortage of the patch both the twice a week and once a week ones so I'm waiting to hear back from her about what to do. My pharmacy has been no help at all!

She had mentioned there were estrogen gels, sprays and I think creams? So my question is, since this shortage is expected to last a while, which is the next best option? I'm still on the Aviane and haven't picked up the new progestogen only birth control because I want to start it all at once together.

EDIT: Thank you all for your suggestions! I messaged the nurse and advised them what CVS told me and asked her to send in the gel prescription instead. Now I got a message from CVS indicating the gel packets are also out of stock. Checked all other CVS locations in my city and all are out of stock as well. So seems like I shouldn't start HRT yet until they get these shortages under control. The last thing I need to do is switch up my birth control pill I've been on for 20 years to this new thing for a month and then massive shortages mean I have to switch back again. Oh well lol

Has anyone tried Terra Mare?

This is gonna sound weird but I just got served a 35 minute Marisa Tomei add for a supplement product called Terra Mare and it totally worked on me and I bought 3 jars! 🤧😅 I mean, she really sold me on it! I watched the whole video ad and took notes on everything she talked about. Basically, it's a women's health focused company that makes this powder you mix with water every morning and it is supposed to help with gut health, mood, skin, sleep, energy etc. Basically everything! 😅 It sounds too good to be true but I guess I'll see once it arrives.

Just curious if anyone else has tried it and what your results were?

As I reduce carbs and lose weight symptoms get worse?

I'm hoping someone else can help me out here because I feel like I'm losing my mind. I was diagnosed with type 2 last August, really not till September because there was a delay in me seeing my doctor but I got my blood work results before that so I already knew! Ever since then I've worked really hard on my diet. I've lost 20 pounds since then basically just stopping all carbs like rice, bread, potatoes, pasta. All things that made up a majority of my diet. This has helped me drop weight which I'm told will help me reverse my blood sugar problems.

Since I had to cut so many things from my diet as a vegan, I started eating dairy and eggs again at the start of this year. So now I'm vegetarian. But my question is, why do I feel worse energy wise? Also my skin is breaking out like crazy. I was getting a few pimples back then around the time I was diagnosed and I read that high glucose can cause breakouts. So it made sense.

But why is it intensifying now?! Does the body revolt when you drastically lower your blood sugar? Does it somehow hold onto stores of the high sugar in the body and get released later when you reduce your sugars? I used to use turbinado sugar in my coffee daily but once I was diagnosed I switched to Splenda and also cut out all sugary sodas and teas. I drink Coke Zero now. I'm literally baffled why as I seem to eat healthier I'm getting worse?

Is it possible to be on HRT while on the birth control pill?

This may be a silly question but I'm honestly confused and after months of trying to find a gynecologist and getting the run around, I've just been trying to Google and figure things out on my own.

I've been on the birth control pill for like 20 years now. I've never wanted kids and still don't so I'd like to stick on them for forever if possible. But I've very obviously been dealing with perimenopause for the last 5 years or so at least. I just didn't realize all my random health problems and symptoms were caused by it until now!!

I've read the secret sauce to dealing with perimenopause and later menopause is HRT whether creams, patches, pills, etc. But one thing I don't understand is if you can get on HRT and stay on the pill? Isn't the birth control pill HRT already? And if so, why am I dealing with perimenopause at all if I've never paused the pill? 😅

Things I've tried to deal with perimenopause

Feeling so frustrated and have no idea where to turn for help! I recently discovered perimenopause was a thing online and after reading through the symptoms, I realized I've been experiencing every single one for years now!?!

Here's what I've already tried: quit drinking, started Amitriptyline, started Zoloft, got a therapist, got a psychiatrist, talked to my nurse practitioner, got a medical doctor and talked to her, went to an endocrinologist, lost 20 pounds, started taking melatonin and ashwaganda, got my vitamin levels tested, added vitamin d iron b12 calcium and a multivitamin, cut out all sugar, carbs, starches from my diet, added back in eggs and dairy after being a strict vegan for 13 years, drinking A TON of water and adding in electrolytes.

NONE OF IT IS WORKING 🤧😭

Nothing has been the same in America since 2000

It just occurred to me this morning, watching an old video of Britney Spears performing on SNL in May 2000 when she was 18. Cringe I know but hear me out. Watching that clip made me realize what drastically different reality and world that was compared to now. Nothing has been the same for us for life in America since about 2000! And why? Well there's a ton of reasons really. 9/11 did a number on us culturally, emotionally. It literally changed the way our government functions, our police, created homeland security. Everyone knows that right? Here's the thing though that I think everyone is missing.

The major change that happened to us in America that had caused all of these issues that seem to be not connected but actually are! Israel got itself fully integrated into our government around 2001. Conspiracy theory? Maybe. But if you start looking down the rabbit hole, everything points to this time in America and to Netanyahu. If we want to fix things here in the US, we need to look at what changes Israel made to our country and government and reverse them!
