Mierzę się z czytelniczą stagnacją i szukam czegoś, co nie pozwoli mi się oderwać od lektury. Moja ulubiona trylogia Larssona już przeczytana, w dzieciństwie za to kochałam Cobena.
Chciałabym czegoś o dobrze skonstruowanej fabule, prawdziwych plot twistów, fajnym stylu. Nie coś w stylu maszynki do kolejnych książek, gdzie każda przypomina poprzednią.

mam taki problem, że co znajdę reportaż, to zaraz robię mini research i okazuje się, iż po latach wyszło, że jest naciągany albo pojawia się inna krytyka.
czy macie do polecania książki nonfiction/reportaże, z których się wiele dowiem - najlepiej na temat jakiegoś kraju i jego historii - a które nie są nakłamane/naciagane?

I would like to come back to the genre of real uncanny horror and I am looking for some hidden gems.
Preferably:
- not Stephen King
- not the classic tropes of divorced woman/man encounters strange things
- if possible, not American
What I have in mind is something really gripping, shocking, odd, unique, wonderful, gothic. It can be something classic (I haven't read that much), it can be horror/thriler/crime, but also not just a family dealing with a serial killer or sth.
I know it's really vague, but I am pretty new to horror (I usually read classics or post-modern lit)
