Hi! We are Thalia and Xen from NJ. In May, Xen had a routine procedure then critical and almost lost her life. She had to be transferred to an emergency setting for a few days and received multiple blood transfusions. I was aware that my pet insurance doesn’t cover dental, and was ready to pay for the initial procedure but since there were issues the costs sky rocketed and the cost of her hospital stay were even higher. I still opened a claim to see if my insurance would cover any part of the emergency care but it was denied. We made multiple payments over the few days and applied for several loans. My GoFundMe amount is 15k
PS - there was no Pets flair so I used medical cause my pet had a medical emergency - sorry if that’s the wrong flair
PSS - I didn’t realize my tux cat was in my photo - she’s fine just a lil chunky.
Procedure con awry led my cat to need multiple blood transfusions
After first night, overnight doc calls us saying she’s not looking good and even more blood isn’t gonna help
We make the decision to end her suffering
Drive an hour to go say good bye
Cat seems fine
Ask daytime doc questions and they suggest secondary procedure
Saves my cats life
Ends up with over 10k in debt
