How am I supposed to get experience if nobody hires beginners

So I applied for a Payroll Administrator job. I have 5 years full cycle of Canadian payroll experience. It is however limited due to the industry I have experience with. So, I am on the quest to look and apply in other industries where I can gain more experience.

The job posting talked about wanting people who are eager to grow and keep learning. Unfortunately, got rejected because they are looking for someone who has experience with union contracts.

I felt disappointed because I applied for the reason that I want to build my payroll career and build experience while making contributions with unionized employees and benefits stuff. So how am I supposed to learn it if nobody will hire someone who's eager to build that experience.

Every job post says "we love growth-minded people" but then only wants people who already know it all.

Inland Same-sex SpousalSponsorship

Any same-sex relationship here applied for inland spousal (common-law) sponsorship and successfully got their PR? We are both female and in a private relationship due to religion and family values reason. Will IRCC doubt our application because we decided to have it private? We have photos together with her friends but nothing on my side. We're living together for 12mos and in 1 lease, joint bank account and joint RRSP contribution. I am already a permanent resident but her permit will be expiring next year. I would like to hear your experiences on this kind of situation.

We're planning to take a vacation outside of Canada for 3 weeks next year as well. Will that be a problem if we lodge our application and apply her work permit by October?
