I came home, the breaker (RCD) had tripped, and there was a nasty smell of burnt cable and electronics. The culprit was identified right away -> the Lelit. I’ve now opened it up and found that both 165°C safety thermostats (part number MC032) are completely burned out. I’ve ordered two replacements, but I’m very, very skeptical about how this could happen and whether that’s enough, or whether something else must be broken too. It seems almost impossible that the machine would just keep heating relentlessly, to the point where the safety thermostats melt? Does anyone have an idea or a hunch what the fault could be?

I’m selling my 90s Tela Stella reversible here. I bought it from fordgarmz. It’s a size L and unfortunately just barely too small for me, which I really regret. Photos are attached, they’re the ones from fordgarmz, but of course I can take some with date/time/username etc., that’s no problem.

I’d like to get back the price I paid, £945.- plus shipping, so almost exactly €1,120 in total. I‘m also willing to trade it to a size XL if sb is interested.
