I can’t even imagine the context for putting this on a sign. Clearly the people compiling the video just didn’t know the phrase, because it’s perfect.
So, I’m randomly wondering. Who among the cast (especially the retainers) can you see taking second or third spouses, and who do you think will end up monogamous?
For example, I expect Damuel will only end up with Philine. He’s on the older side to only now be marrying his first wife, and his mednoble level mana capacity means most laynobles wouldn’t be able to marry him anyway. Since most mednobles wouldn’t be willing to marry down, even if it means connecting with the archduchess, and he’d be expected to wait for at least a few years after marrying Philine… I just don’t see them being anything but monogamous.
On the other hand, it seems certain that Cornelius, an archnoble and one of the only family members of the archduchess in her own duchy, will end up taking a second and likely also a third wife, focusing on making connections within Alexandria that will help support both Leonore and Rozemyne. Eckhart technically should do the same… but since he’s leaving the seat of first wife with Heidemarie and marrying Angelica largely so they can both avoid other proposals, it seems somehow unlikely that he’ll take a third wife.
Hartmut also seems like he, as an archnoble head scholar, should take a second wife… but it feels like most people wouldn’t be able to deal with his fanaticism. And even if they could, I’m not sure he could accept someone who can’t join him in his worship. So, maybe if his preaching causes the appearance of a third fanatic? Then he and Clarissa would probably both be excited to welcome her into their household, and the three of them could extol Rozemyne’s virtues together.
Lieseleta is engaged as of H5Y, likely to an archnoble of old Ahrensbach. However, it’s unlikely she’d be his only wife. Possibly a first wife, with her position of Archduchess’s head attendant, but even that is uncertain, given her status as a mednoble.
Rodrick, Matthias, and Laurenz all feel a bit to early to talk about, since we know nothing of what any of them are currently thinking in regards to relationships, and Gretia strongly wishes to avoid marriage, so she feels like a whole different conversation that shouldn’t even be in the same post.

That’s not good at all... Someone hold an intervention for Ferdinand, too! He’s messed up as a person on, like, a fundamental level. But I can’t say anything to him because I love books so absurdly much that I’m also messed up as a person! Someone, please! You have to save Ferdinand in my place! (P3V2)
I mean, it has so much to unpack, from RM’s self awareness of how extreme her obsession is, to the fact that, in the end, no one else stepped up on their own to save Ferdinand (both from his own self destructive tendencies and from his later life-threatening situation), and she had to do it herself.
What it says in the title. FB8 finished releasing in pre-pub last week, so what do we think is coming next? Personally, I’m hoping for SSC3–it came out only a few months after H5Yv1 in Japan, so chronologically speaking, we’re more than ready for it.
So, I just caught up with book 7.5, and now I can’t help but wonder who might overblot in book 8? It was relatively obvious in all the previous books, since all you had to do was pinpoint which character in each dorm is based off the corresponding villain. But I can’t imagine that we’ll start having the remaining characters in each dorm overblotting (could Ortho even overblot?), and I’m sure we aren’t done with overblots, since we still don’t know what’s up with Grim and the black stones. So who’s it gonna be going forward? Are the teachers going to start overblotting, since they’re also based on Disney villains? Or are we gonna flip things and have the Disney protagonists from the RSA start OBing during the upcoming tournament? I want to hear opinions and theories from players who have been at it for more than my measly three months!
