A strange pattern in Harbinger releases that might give a hint for Signora

Not really a theory and more so just a series of patterns that strangely keeps repeating in the release of playable Harbingers, not saying it is anything concrete but good to know and keep an eye out for:

The dates and version patches have always matched the Harbinger rank-

  1. Childe, 11th Harbinger- v1.1 (11), released on 11/11

  2. Arlecchino, 4th Harbinger- v4.6 (4), released on 24th April (4th month)

  3. Sandrone, 7th Harbinger- v6.7 (7), released on 1st July (7th month)

Now for the exceptions Wanderer and Columbina-

  1. Wanderer, originally 6th Harbinger- v3.3 (3+3=6), released on December 7 (month does not match)

  2. Columbina, originally 3rd Harbinger- v6.3 (3, 6-3=3), released on January 14 (month does not match)

What makes this interesting is that Wanderer and Columbina are the two Harbingers who explicitly left the Fatui and coincidentally their release months dont match their rank while the other 3 who are still there match.

What can we conclude for Signora based on this? This is completely based on rough estimations and assumptions that the patch cycles remain unchanged:

If she remains a Harbinger then she should be in patches having an 8 as well as in the 8th month i.e August so in 7.x that is 7.8 which would approximately land in mid July, and then the next patch is 8.0 that would land in last quarter of August. Both of these are quite plausible to happen depending on the way the story goes.

If she does not remain a Harbinger then we have more flexibility as she only needs to match the patch number with 8 which can be 7.8 then practically any patch in 8.x.

So, I dont mean to make a conspiracy theory or anything but I cant help but feel these patterns are a little too perfect to fit on every released Harbinger so far. I hope for the best for our Rosalyne 🙏

About Odette's Cor Ignis and the translations causing confusion yet again

I have been on the fence about this for days so I finally looked into CN, JP and KR translations. Note: I couldn't get the dance cutscene in CN and the JP one also had auto generated subs and not official captions but Odette's voiceline about it is official in all 3 so this will still help.

Initially, I understood that there were two Cor Ignis and Odette had Signora's all the time during the quest and it was just before she visits her tomb in the end that she went to meet Arlecchino and got a second one alongside a letter which were Signora's final words and gift for her. This was largely due to the way EN translated it and the order the quest happened. But the more I read around in discussions I realized most seem to think there was only one Cor Ignis ever and Odette always had the one with Arlecchino's flame. So I dug up what I could find in other languages:

In JP, Arlecchino states clearly that Odette's Cor Ignis was the exception. It also adds on that Arlecchino sent the flame to Signora, not the entire Cor Ignis. There is no "This was my parting gift to her" but a simple "It is what I sent to Rosalyne.". So it looks something like this (beware this is auto caption but it is mostly correct)-

"では君のは例外だ" - "Then yours is the exception."
"その炎には記憶を焼く力がある。私がロザリンへ送ったものだ" - "That flame has the power to burn away memories. It is what I sent to Rosalyne."

The confusion comes from EN's "Not yours" which reads as though a second object is being produced, and from "parting gift" — a phrase JP doesn't have (the auto-caption gives 送った, simply 'sent/gave' — if anyone has official JP subs, please confirm.). Neither version's wording supports two Cor Ignis; EN just phrased the reveal ambiguously enough that the two-object reading became available.

Onto the voiceline of "About Rosalyne: Cor Ignis". This is much more accurate and confidently stated, I will present the direct lines for all 4 languages:

CN- 人不在了,很多话就失去了说出口的意义。「燃珀」砸碎起来是那么容易,却让误会和伤痛显得更加讽刺…为什么事到如今,我们才能互相理解呢?

"Once the person is gone, many words lose the meaning of being spoken aloud. Smashing the Cor Ignis is so easy, yet that makes the misunderstandings and the pain seem all the more ironic... Why is it that only now, at this point, we can finally understand each other?"

JP- 伝える対象がいなくなれば、多くの言葉は行き場を失います。燃珀はあっけなく割れました…皮肉なものですね。かつてはあれだけ傷つき、誤解し合っていたというのに…いまさら、あの人のことが理解できるなんて。

"Once the one you would convey them to is gone, many words lose anywhere to go. The Cor Ignis broke so easily... how ironic. Back then we hurt each other and misunderstood each other that much... and yet now, of all times, that I should be able to understand her."

"Now that the person has gone, countless words have lost the meaning of being brought out of the mouth. Breaking the Cor Ignis is really easy, and perhaps because of that, the misunderstandings and wounds feel all the more cruelly ironic... Why is it that only now, we have come to understand each other?"

EN- "After someone is gone, a lot of things are suddenly no longer worth saying. I could shatter this Cor Ignis in a heartbeat, yet that would make the pain and the misunderstandings it caused feel all the more ridiculous... Why is it only now, after all this time, that we finally understand each other?"

A bit to unpack here.... on first reading, JP looks like the outlier as EN and KR seem to follow CN closely but there is some language issues happening.

Line 1 — "once the person is gone, words lose their point"

All four agree on the substance. Minor differences:

  • CN 说出口的意义 — the meaning of speaking them aloud
  • KR 입 밖으로 꺼낼 의미 — near-identical to CN ("bringing them out past the lips")
  • JP 行き場を失います — different image: the words have nowhere to go rather than losing purpose
  • EN "no longer worth saying" — flattens 意义 (meaning/purpose) into "worth"

CN and KR match closely. JP substitutes a different metaphor. EN is loose but not wrong.

Line 2 — the Cor Ignis breaking, the main divergence

CN — 砸碎起来是那么容易 · unmarked tense · transitive · no possessive
KR — 부수는 건 참 쉬운데 · unmarked tense · transitive · no possessive
JP — あっけなく割れました · past tense · intransitive · no possessive
EN — "I could shatter this" · present hypothetical · transitive · "this" added

Three separate things happen here:

  1. JP marks past tense. CN and KR don't — Chinese has no tense marking, and the Korean uses a general nominalised form. JP's translator resolved the ambiguity into "it broke."
  2. JP makes it intransitive. CN's 砸碎 and KR's 부수다 both mean to smash something; JP's 割れる means to break (of its own accord), removing Odette from the action.
  3. EN adds a demonstrative. No source version says "this" or "mine." EN's addition is the only thing implying she's still holding one.

Line 3 — the irony, EN inverts the logic

  • CN 却 — and yet: it breaks so easily, and that makes the pain look absurd
  • KR 그래서인지 — perhaps because of that: same causal direction
  • JP separate sentence (皮肉なものですね) — the irony is stated as a standalone aside
  • EN "yet that would make..." — reverses it into a reason not to break it

CN and KR both run: ease of breaking → therefore the pain seems absurd. EN turns this into breaking it would make the pain absurd → therefore I refrain. That's a different sentence.

Small flavour note: KR's 얄궂다 (twisted/cruelly ironic) is warmer and more wounded than CN's 讽刺 (ironic/satirical).

Line 4 — the understanding

  • CN 互相理解 — mutual
  • KR 서로를 이해 — mutual
  • EN "understand each other" — mutual
  • JP あの人のことが理解できる — one-directional; only Odette understands Signora

JP is the outlier. It also uses あの人 ("that person") rather than her name — distancing.

So what can we conclude? CN is the source, and KR tracks it almost exactly, where those two agree is our baseline: 'Words lose their point once there's no one to say them to. The Cor Ignis breaks so easily — and that's what makes all the pain and misunderstanding seem absurd. Why only now can we understand each other?'

JP is a defensible interpretation, not a mistranslation. The voiceline only unlocks after Odette destroys the Cor Ignis at the tomb, so a tenseless CN line spoken in that context naturally reads as reflection on what she just did. JP's translator made that explicit. Where JP does overreach is dropping the mutuality — CN and KR both say each other.

EN is the one genuine error. Two independent problems compound: adding "this" puts an intact stone back in her hand, and "would make" reverses the causal logic into restraint. The result is a line about Odette choosing not to destroy it — which contradicts the scene the voiceline unlocks from.

Best reading overall: she has already broken it, and is reflecting that it took almost nothing to do — which is what makes everything it cost feel absurd. CN and KR leave the timing unstated but the situation supplies it; JP states it outright; EN alone contradicts it.

-----

After all this, what are we thinking now? You may think its clear Odette always had the one with Arlecchino's flame but there are genuine plot holes this brings, main one being that scene where Odette says she was secretly practicing once and Signora showed up out of nowhere then Odette lashed out at her. She had given this as an example to convey the monitoring nature of the Cor Ignis and how invasive Signora's mark of approval was. And then during the whole quest, especially the scene where the Cor Ignis helps Traveller navigate Death, we are made to believe it is Signora's power doing it then in the end they suddenly reveal it was Arlecchino's- and this exception exists only in Odette's.

Furthermore, the cutscene itself shows that when Odette destroyed it, the flame turned into Signora's moths and flew towards her tomb. This is further seen with the aftermath in the open world where after collecting the singular lotus moth, the place gets surrounded by pyro moths. I have no idea how to explain this phenomenon at the moment, we can only wait for future content. However, this reveal does lessen some of the meaning and symbolism and the hope it brought. Odette said the Cor Ignis had helped her recover once and the warmth from it is one of the few things she can still feel. It acted as a way to show Signora's care and how it comforted Odette- but now it was Arlecchino's.

Then ofc the main point of it helping Traveller in Death.... I dont need to explain it.

What I will say that keeps this ambiguous and still meaningful is that these Cor Ignis are barely explained anywhere. We dont get them as an item to read description, nor are they explained by the person who actually made them. Even if Odette's didn't contain Signora's flame, the mechanism and item is still Signora's own making and other subordinates indeed received the one with hers. But how to explain that scene where she found Odette? I have some explanations-

  1. Perhaps the monitoring feature of them is not caused by the flame but instead the ice since it very likely comes from her cryo delusion
  2. Signora swapped the flame in Odette's some time after that incident. Nothing really supports this but it isnt implausible either
  3. She accidentally walked in, maybe she was nearby and heard her

The cutscene is still confusing in this aspect, I dont know how to explain why the moths were released that way. I can only assume it was imagery and poetic presentation. This is all I could find right now, I will wait for official channels to upload the cutscene and confirm further

EDIT- I received the CN transcript of the dance cutscene later and it matches quite closely with JP in most lines, even the ones I didn't mention here as they aren't really differently translated in EN. CN confirms Arlecchino gave her Two Worlds' Flame to Signora right before she left for the Gnosis missions- which means the timeline is still a bit messy. So either Signora secretly swapped Odette's Cor Ignis (or at least the flame inside it) right before she left for Mondstadt, or there was indeed another Cor Ignis that Odette only receives later along with the letter when she meets Arlecchino.

Any new story developments for her?

I haven't kept up with hsr story since 3.0 but I like to know what's happening with my favorite characters. I had heard Jade had some brief involvement at the start of Planarcadia though I'm not sure what, has she had anything after that? Even small mentions work.

On that note, I saw leaks there might be SP of Firefly and Misha and possibly even an Amphoreus character. I really hope Jade will also be considered later but I dont have high hopes as she's clearly not a favorite character, but she can definitely have story relevance which can justify it. If they dont give her novaflare either then they need to do SP at least....

Signora's actual final words can be considered sadder now....

Just a random thought I had

Her final words in CN, JP, KR and other languages except EN were along the lines of "I won't die here" and I have always imagined it was referring to her mission and Tsaritsa's goal as in she didn't want to die before the work was done. But now we know she also had Odette's performance to watch after returning which never happened so that's another regret she probably harboured. Sure, Odette performs it at her grave later but it mainly only works in Odette's favour to help her accept things. And it hurts more when she had asked Traveller what Signora's final words were and they didn't remember....

Some scenes that broke my heart in the quest and other mentions she had....

I had initially been apprehensive of them villainizing her in Odette's eyes but the more I read I realized what direction they were taking this to and I was quite glad with the resolution in the end. I still don't really see the purpose of her and Odette's relationship but that being aside, there were a few moments where I just sympathized so much and felt so heartbroken for Rosalyne 😭

  1. The scene of Odette lashing out at her

I really wish this had a visual, a CG or cutscene, cause I would die to see Signora's expression. She only wanted to watch Odette dance but was reprimanded harshly, hearing a child say "you dont deserve to see me dance" would obviously hurt. The fact that her reaction was being silent then simply walking away just... oh god 😭 and then she stopped bothering Odette about it altogether, not even asking about it as if she herself agreed she doesn't deserve it.... What's worse is at that moment, Odette and Traveller reasoned out she was just too prideful so she retreated because of that and not because she was actually hurt.

  1. "Many people despise me, I'm used to it."

Sandrone also said this in the beginning of the quest, was further agreed on by Childe then she herself said it in the dance cutscene.... What did it for me was the way she gave that wry, defeated smile first when thinking of Odette hating her and looked out of the window then said this line. It directly mirrored how even as the Crimson Witch she was hated by people despite saving them, her being strict with her subordinates is grounded in many things. So she has known for a long time people hate her even when she has good intentions, and I think she's probably aware of the reason too but doesn't change.

  1. Her singing voice was really gone

In the scene that leads to the dance cutscene, when Odette is walking towards her tomb she thinks of a past memory which manifests as illusions of Signora and Odette in black attire talking to each other. Signora talked about a dance called Spirit Seeker, which I assume is one of her favorites. She wanted Odette to perform it and was even ready to teach her but instead of simply saying this, she went about it in her haughty manner with the "Your mother didn't teach you, did she?" Then she actually recited the lyrics of the song but she couldn't sing at all and was then mocked by Odette for it, "Don't tell me you can't sing?". This earned a similar reaction to the earlier lashing scene, she just said a simple 'Shush' and assumingly walked away and never tried this again. This made me imagine of more cases where she might have tried singing in private but her voice came out hoarse and she hated it 😭 who knows she might have felt envious sometimes hearing Columbina (and anyone else) sing effortlessly....

  1. The whole purpose of the Cor Ignis

This is my personal interpretation about it. Considering they acted as surveillance objects and she could sense if something was amiss in order to immediately act, this feels like a trauma response. She wasn't there when Mondstadt was attacked and her beloved died. She might have survivor's guilt over it so now she gives these objects to people she considers important in her life, they even seem to help recover from sickness. Her being overprotective this way makes sense to me and I really felt sad when they said that most people destroyed their Cor Ignis after hearing of her death.... I understand why they did but I always end up considering Signora's perspective more.

  1. How Odette was recruited

The quest frames it as Odette having to join the Fatui, but her character story shows Signora came to offer condolences and a pension, made the offer, and accepted Violetta's refusal without pressing. It was Odette who overheard and begged. And the narration says Signora looked at her and recognised a girl already burning herself away while disguising the ruin as strength, because that's exactly what she'd done. She saw herself in a child and took her anyway. That mirror is the entire foundation of the relationship and the quest doesn't mention it once.... this is what Odette eventually understood in the end when she got her message.

I can go on but these were the main things that really struck me. Everything we know about her comes filtered through people who found her intolerable at the time which is why "prideful" keeps sticking to her even in moments where the text/scene is showing something else entirely. At least this cleared up some things but Signora's inner state and mentality is still largely unexplained, I can understand because I have always seen her this way but it doesn't excuse Mihoyo not properly showing her story ever. I really hope this is meant to set a foundation for better things in upcoming quests.

The timeline is confusing me now

I rewatched that final cutscene with Odette and Signora a few times and also went back to other scenes in the AQ involving them and something struck me. In the cutscene it was shown that Signora was in Liyue and got the Geo Gnosis and had written in the letter that she'll be back and watch Odette's performance then talk to her but it didn't happen. So this indicates Signora went to Inazuma directly after Liyue?? How does this make sense?

I can be wrong ofc as I am not up to date with every aspect of Genshin lore but I'm quite sure it has been indicated a few times that time in the game passes almost in sync to real time so there's a gap of anywhere between 6 months to 1 year between Liyue and Inazuma AQs. I also dont believe Signora would have sent the Anemo and Geo Gnoses with someone else cause I'm damn sure she'd want to deliver it herself, and I really cant fathom that she would have immediately left for Inazuma after giving the Anemo and Geo Gnosis and didnt find the time to meet Odette.

Feel free to correct me if I have misinterpreted this but otherwise it's bugging me. I already feel this whole connection and their relationship is kind of unnecessary and doesn't serve a proper purpose for Signora so small details like this make it feel sudden and something Mihoyo thought randomly as it is easy to use her for other people's stories.

Signora's death and Fatui's role in Inazuma- an elephant in the room that Mihoyo refuses to acknowledge (long post)

There was a post here just a few hours ago discussing why Columbina, Sandrone and Arlecchino don't talk about Signora's death to Traveller and are being all friendly with them despite what Traveller did. This aspect has been discussed before and I felt like making a bigger post about what is going on.

Firstly, I'm not going to debate the moral right or wrong here. I know many believe Traveller defeated her fair and square and she was executed by the Shogun not Traveller for a government rule she agreed to. This is a separate topic because if you really want to dive into this, there are several aspects that fall out of place for the duel to even happen. I have elaborated on this in the past but those posts are very old now.

Here, I want to discuss how Signora's death is treated as some anomaly and the facts of it are twisted by Mihoyo themselves. Mihoyo actively made efforts to establish her being friendly with the other female Harbingers and kids- years after her death. Yet at the same time, they do not elaborate on her death itself and Traveller's role in it whenever the female Harbingers are involved with the Traveller. Not just this, her death is simply not at all investigated by the Fatui and they seemingly accept very easily she had it coming for herself and treat it like a noble sacrifice.

But this is not all. Has anyone noticed how whenever the plot of Inazuma AQ is brought up, it's always only been connected to Ei's doings and her philosophy? The game does a poor job of explaining the Fatui's role in Inazuma, and now they almost never bring it up. For reference: they were distributing Delusions to the Watatsumi Army for profit, which got real people killed; the Clean House world quest reveals a Fatui agent personally sent by Pierro to keep the war going, hinting at an unnamed "Lord Harbinger" mastermind that's never been brought up since (likely Pierro, though the exact 'First Seat' phrasing makes it Capitano). Signora arrived in Inazuma to run the Delusion Factory and work the Shogun toward the Gnosis, but she handed the factory off to Scaramouche to focus on the diplomatic side. He grabbed the Gnosis for himself and vanished, leaving her to see through what the story itself frames as a fruitless mission that got her killed.

Now all this is said and done, but why is none of their work there brought up again? Every other AQ is talked about to some degree as they contributed something major. Just recently, we pretty much replayed Mondstadt AQ and Signora was mentioned but again blamed on by Venti and Varka instead of explaining or trying to understand from a different perspective. Sumeru's majorly relied on Scaramouche's story and Irminsul to finally conclude with Dottore's. Fontaine only had one thread open which was Arlecchino and Furina's relationship and this has been mended now. Natlan has the thread open with Capitano and I think it's more than obvious he will be back. But in all this, Fatui's doings are properly shown and explained with the sole exception of Inazuma.

This has nothing to do with Signora's potential revival either. It just feels so strange they bring up nothing about Fatui's doings in Inazuma and always just either simplify it or only talk about Ei's role. Did the Fatui ultimately achieve nothing there except the electro gnosis (which also technically reached them through such a rounded way)? When Crucabena was killed, they arrested Peruere and it was told she was pardoned by Tsaritsa hence took up the Arlecchino position and does her duties now. So why is no investigation done for Signora? Im not even saying the Fatui should take revenge for her, but it is just so strange they don't bother at all??

And before anyone says that the Fatui might not know the truth-

  1. There is no way they don't because common people all around Teyvat know about it and that Traveller defeated a Fatui Harbinger in a duel to the death and said Harbinger was then executed by the Shogun. You can find this out in this daily commission
  2. ASSUMING the Fatui indeed do not know the truth.... well, that's exactly the point to investigate?? Your Harbinger died in a foreign nation on a mission through unknown means?? Even if the Fatui are banned from Inazuma, what's stopping them from sending spies for this?

You can ultimately reason out the Fatui don't care for every death because they are used to it and their inherent motto is to keep moving on for every sacrifice made. Yet Signora feels weird because for some reason, Mihoyo is trying to soften her through her colleagues and kids now but still doesn't have them mention the one thing everything is hanging on. And it's not even that they avoid her death as a topic- they clearly don't. Every Harbinger attended her funeral, and Columbina, Sandrone and Arlecchino have all since gotten voicelines that mourn her openly and even beautifully. Arlecchino outright calls her death "a great shame" and a sacrifice, and wishes her reunited with her lover in death. Sandrone talks about her flame flickering into nothing. Columbina talks about wings engulfed in flame and being left to sing her dirge. What none of them ever do, in any of it, is mention a cause. She just seems to flicker out or burn out on her own, like it happened to no one and by no one's hand, when two of the people saying this were probably in the room the day it happened.

Every time I see the female Harbingers mention her as Rosalyne and any nice thing she did, especially talking about it to the Traveller, I only wonder that does Traveller even know who Rosalyne is? Do they know it was Signora's real name? Do the female Harbingers know Traveller carries Signora's crown/mask as a trophy for killing her? Columbina has such omnipotent powers now, does she really not know the truth at all?? Again, I don't expect them to avenge her but at the very least some talk about it?

That's why this just feels like an elephant in the room they keep ignoring. Sure, I like getting to know more about Signora but Mihoyo keeps skipping the main point and its getting super annoying and confusing. Unless Snezhnaya really revives her, I don't expect anything different from Odette and Tsaritsa. Maybe this is all done just to use her as plot device to sympathize with others and show them having capacity for grief and care because a dead character is easy to use for this purpose. That would mean she has been used for others' characterization thrice now (including Odette) and nothing of her own

Can Lucilla at least get accessory and/or bike livery

Saw the gameplay of Xuangling and Suisui and I'll ignore Xuangling cause she's dps and 5* Yangyang but Suisui gameplay is gorgeous and clearly made with effort, her kit is also extremely useful as she's designed to be proper support but even then her animations are great. Lucilla animations are good too but I'm quite sure a lot of us here feel she got the short end of the stick overall. So yeah seeing Suisui further makes me a bit envious.

But what's done is done, I hope she at least gets an accessory or bike livery part. I noticed we didn't get a bike skin for her as Segue reward and I'm pretty sure all other Segues had one for the corresponding character. Some characters got fully custom premium bike and others got some kind of accessory as well, only Lucilla didn't get any in this patch, and assumingly next patch going by the leaks so far. Xuanling and Suisui area already getting outfit accessories in next patch, maybe we should write it in the upcoming survey that we want accessory and livery for Lucilla

She stole the show

Top comments on the JP video, more than half of them are about her. And in other places too like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook most are talking about her.

We used to pray for times like this, didn't we....

Little theory about her plausible backstory

I am hella excited for her release so I was just looking at all of her available material again to find out as much as possible and it suddenly hit me.

v3.4 is called 'The Dream not Dreamed'

Lucilla's quote in her drip marketing was "My dream now is just to see all my students' dreams come true."

Notice the emphasis on now. Ofc we know she cares deeply about the students and does her best to support them through their life, but then Lucilla herself was a child at some point and had dreams of her own.

The brief look we got into her backstory in 3.2 already told us she struggled with her Resonator powers and in the livestream they said she lost lot of her childhood memories. In the livestream we also saw her younger form and something struck out to me- she was wearing high strapped shoes which hid her Tacet Mark.

We know she was in New Federation before and although I'm not sure if she was born there but assuming she was, it's also known New Fed doesn't treat Resonators well so it makes sense why she was attempting to hide her Tacet Mark back then.

So coming back to the dream thing, aside from her life as a professor and headmistress, she loves films and she has great taste in them. In the livestream, her younger form was also shown to watch movies. Safe to say her love for movies started when she was a child so my theory about her previous dream, as in the one she gave up was something movie related- perhaps to become an actress, director, film writer etc etc. In New Federation she was the Chief Editor of their top journal so she certainly has good literary skills too.

So combining all of this, she likely wanted to work in film industry but the struggle with her powers and New Fed's authorities stripped away her freedom and she had nobody to guide her. I personally sympathize and relate with her character a lot because my mother is a teacher too and they both are rather similar in the sense that they want the best for their students. Ironically, I see Lucilla tries to be the adult/mentor she didn't have. Yes she did have a teacher later who helped her at Startorch Academy but as a child, I think she didn't have anyone.

Hence a lot of her current attitude and overall personality is shaped from both her good and bad experiences. She didn't have anyone when she struggled most, she knows how it felt then. Then later she had someone to guide her and she understands the importance of that too so now, she had to give up her own dream but she doesn't want any student to face the same. I think if in the Segue we see her past in detail, there could be a scene where she in fact says that quote from her drip marketing out loud.

That's all, just a little food for thought I had. I cannot wait for her!!

I'm optimistic about her patch content and screentime now

I had made some posts in the past sharing how I was upset she would get overshadowed by the collab and the beta leaks added onto it seeing her gameplay wasn't as well received. I personally loved her animations and only wished her ult form could last longer as I want to make her main dps with higher sequences. But that's my personal indulgence and I'm aware she's good in what she's supposed to do. But more than kit and gameplay, I value the story and character writing more and as someone who has waited for her since the first ever teaser, I have had high hopes.

The livestream and the patch trailer reassured me seeing she was given good amount of attention and I'm glad she gets another Segue which will truly be focused on her, we'll likely even see her younger form which tells me we'll dive much deeper into her backstory. And I'm also extremely happy her banner lasts the entire patch cause previous leaks had said she would be in phase 1 and I was personally a bit against that. Both her banner and Segue will release 5 days after the update which is totally fine with me, it's plausible her Segue actually picks up from the collab quest as well which is why they are releasing it later.

But anyways, I'm mostly satisfied with her implementation. The gameplay will be a bit of a regret but if rest of the things are up to par then I'm all good with it and really excited to finally have her. May all Lucilla wanters be Lucilla havers ❤️🙏

So Lucilla doesn't have a signature echo set??

Just saw the livestream and I dont think I saw an echo set for her so how is this gonna work?? Her modes are completely different from each other and you require different sets for both so if we want to do the quick switch in menu we'll have to manually swap out the sets too?? Idk this sounds really inconvenient and she doesn't take full advantage of any existing sets either

My another fear about Lucilla's release....

Sorry to doompost, I know the general atmosphere here is a bit pessimistic but I thought of this after seeing the leak that her banner is possibly in first half.

If she's in first half and also the collab banner is for the entire patch, it means they obviously start at the same time. And this means all the marketing content will be done simultaneously which includes resonator showcase, combat demo, midnight podcast, arts, etc etc.... Idk about you all but I can't help but feel this will again push her to the sidelines 😭

If her banner starts in second half alongside a rerun then that means the entire 2 weeks are for her content before they start 3.5 content by the last week. This would be so much better as that's exclusive to her, even if she doesn't get anything special it at least reserves this spot for her. I'm almost certain they will showcase the 3.4 trailer at the Summer Game Fest and it's natural to show the collab stuff more, this is a huge way to increase reach and attract more players.

I know having her from day 1 is great and I do want that but then this negligence.... I'd rather wait another 20 days 😭

I dont want Signora to revive if she'll only have bare minimum

I said what I said, idc if it's an unpopular opinion or whatever

This is coming largely after seeing Sandrone leaks, the design is butchered even tho it's fundamentally still same, her animations/gameplay are not impressive, and apparently there's no story quest (this is unknown, I assume she will have a WQ like Nicole). I'm sorry to say but if Signora gets a treatment like this then I'd much rather have her stay dead, because then I will know they never planned anything and she was supposed to be have this tragic non-cathartic death.

Yes it is weird and frankly very hurtful and irritating Signora got this treatment, every Harbinger after her got properly fleshed out even fcking Dottore got Otto Apocalypse level treatment, Traveller is allies with almost everyone there's even a long conversation with Pantalone in a single patch. Signora has had it worst, objectively, point blank period. So if she returns, I have very high expectations for her content- both story and gameplay. But unfortunately, I do not trust Mihoyo with either.

Over the years, I have come to somehow accept this bitterness of her treatment, but I know I will feel worse if she's back and they butchered everything that made her good. I'm scared they will change her model to the default adult woman which will make her shorter and lose her proportions, her dress will obviously be modified and I'm scared it will be so much worse, she may not get a good spotlight whenever she releases. Snezhnaya already has at least 2 Harbingers + Tsaritsa release, if Signora is also put in then I dont trust she will have good screentime/relevancy.

My ideal scenario of her return is that there will be no big cinematic resurrection but instead a casual, out of nowhere appearance. I would love it if there's a scene where we first walk into Zapolyarny Palace to meet Tsaritsa then suddenly hear a familiar clinking of heels and voila, Signora is just there. Yes actually I feel this will give the best shock factor and show she is much more deeply integrated into the story than we thought. If she is shown this way right from patch 1 then I can definitely hope she will stay around for the entirety and get good focus around her release patch.

But whatever happens, in the end if they change the most unique and significant traits about her and treat her like a side piece then I will probably not even pull or just get C0 cause its still Signora

What's the community reaction?

I ask because I dont see social media outside of a few subs and discord servers but I dont interact in most. It seems most of us here are a bit disappointed with her kit and animations but I wanted to know if this is shared with the larger community cause then only can we hope for beta testers to give feedback while there's still time....

Alternatively, if anyone here can get in touch with beta testers then please tell them to give good feedback and hope for quick changes

No drip today.....

I'm this close to crashing out but I will still wait for tomorrow cause they probably wanted to get the collab characters teases done first.... but if she's not there then wtf???

I wanted some clarification about her Forte in order to write a fanfiction.

When she extracts the memories, does she also get to know what the person was *thinking* in their mind at that moment and not just their actual physical actions and spoken words? Like, for example, if there was a person with her who used a pen and she later extracted the frequency of that pen, will she know what the person had been thinking about in their mind during that moment?

I'm just a bit confused whether she gets to know thoughts, emotions, feelings inside a mind or not. Thank you for the help

V6.6 is called 'Truth Among the Pages of Purana' which is actually the title of Sumeru chapter in the Teyvat Travail Trailer that was released around the launch of the game in 2020. For years, people have wondered why act 5 of Sumeru wasn't named this cause it was followed for every other region. Most believed it was either because the story underwent changes or there was some controversy with the usage of the title adhering to certain religious groups.

--- TALKING OF STORY LEAKS BELOW READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION ---

Some leaks have suggested the Irminsul will burn and then be brought back by some way in this quest which will cause every deleted memory of Teyvat to be brought out, which likely means deletions like Scara and Rukkhadevata and anything else will be undone and everyone will know what happened. This perfectly aligns with the title

So, I'm not here to theorize that Signora could be connected to this in the sense that perhaps the Crimson Witch was also deleted or at least her liquid fire powers were erased from existence. I dont deny the possibility, but I remain carefully neutral.

What I do think this shows and gives me hope is that Mihoyo might have truly planned something from the beginning. The irminsul burning was first teased in her own funeral video which released in v2.8, and since then lot of people thought that did Mihoyo forget about it or it was an intentional deception to hype us for Sumeru as the burning didn't happen in Sumeru AQ. But now this plot has finally come out from the basement.

I have always believed Signora's death was planned since the start of the game but they messed up the execution cause of potential rewrites of Inazuma AQ due to team changes. But to me, her revival has been questionable. I do not deny any of the theories, I myself made several of them years ago and still hold on to some of them cause I know for sure Mihoyo can do whatever they want at any time. But now seeing that one of these old things is coming full circle actually makes me a little more optimistic that perhaps they truly have proper plans for her revival and that every tease or every disappointment was planned. I won't give them too much credit until it happens, but it does feel a little positive now.

I got a launcher update first which made it download a new launcher and I manually selected an installation folder again which has now made a new aether gazer file in my pc, on the new launcher I get the option to download game now. Should I be manually deleting the old file or uninstalling the game first??
