70% for GAD w/panic attacks
Is it better to go to a lawyer to try and get you 100% disability? Or should I file a claim myself?
I also always tried to get a rating for depression; it was in my medical records when I was enlisted but was denied my claim. I also tried to commit suicide, and the 1st sergeant and his wife came to my place to make sure I was ok. However, I don't this information was notated in any of my files. Till this day, I have all the symptoms, of depression and anxiety. Also, have thought about suicide but never followed through. Every symptom of anxiety and depression I have. I do go to the Psychiatrist and was prescribed medication, but we don't talk about anything, just monthly check-ins to make sure the medication is working. To be honest, the military wasn't very good to me, even when I tried to go to my doctor appointments for my depression my Sargeant would get mad and say I was leaving work again. This was back in 2004-2006, I guess when maybe times were different. Anyway, should I go to a lawyer or just file myself? thank you
