How non-refundable is non-refundable?
Dates for our family trip in September have changed and my 80 year old dad went online to change the dates. HOWEVER, instead of modifying his reservation, he cancelled it and rebooked!
He called the airline since he booked with them and was told all they could do was put in a claim and he would hear from them in 6-8 weeks.
First set of tix was $2000 and second set was $2500. YIKES!
I'm gutted for him-it's a lot of money to potentially lose.
